I have been really trying to grow my store. I am not looking for it to be huge - but it would be nice to get a better feel for what customers do and do not want, and hopefully make the store profitable. In discussing with some friends, I have come to realize that my marketing/advertising efforts are pretty bad, and I need to hire someone, because I am never going to do it myself. I was hoping maybe someone here could suggest a person, an agency, a budget...some place to start with in my search for an advertising person. I am thinking that this person would help run my Facebook Page, primarily being responsible for getting ads out there and shared in Facebook land. I would ideally find someone who could offer suggestions/collaborate on how to market, not just click the share button a ton of times. I would love to find someone who had the time to follow up with customers via notecard or IM...not nagging them, just sending a follow up in case they have problems or questions. Once, I released something with wrong permissions and it took over a month for someone to say something. I work full time RL, which pays for my SL addiction, but I just don't have the time or inclination to really market my store. I know people do this kind of work; I just have no idea where to start. I love creating my mesh items (no clothing), but when it comes to photographing them and making ads...I just fall way flat. I would like to find someone who I could pass copies of my products to and would handle the following: Photograph the product in an appealing way Make marketplace advertisement (as well as provide a higher quality version to upload to flickr) Make an advertisement/image that I can use on my Instagram (different dimensions) Pass those images to me via email, Discord...something outside of SL so that SL doesn't play with the quality, and I can crop/adjust the ad if changes arise in the future. I have a logo that I like (and can pass a copy) but would be potentially interested in re-designing my ad template. I realize that this graphic re-do would be an additional "one time" project. My work can be a bit sporadic depending on RL schedules and how ambitious the build is, but I would say that I make an average of one item every week and would like to see an approximate turnaround in ads within a week of supplying the product to you (within reason and respecting that RL happens).
