Do you know if Stray Dog is going to update their Legacy body skin to use BoM? I love my Stray Dog Apolo head skin and they fit perfectly together.

Yeah, I'm still only a few months old and I started with BoM, which is great. But the Legacy Athletic default body skin applier looks quite good. Oh well. Why is The Ultimate Meshbody like this, lol.

Ok, now I have another question. I've only ever used BoM, it's awesome. But! The skins that come with Legacy Athletic are not BoM, they are appliers(I think). How do I get things like body hair and tattoos on my Legacy Athletic hody if I want to use one of their default skins? They actually look very nice.

What are some more male body skins? The places I've found generally have only 1 or 2 available. This includes Not Found, Velour, Dopelit, Rebirth, and Session(I think).

If so, though, it's obnoxious because it wasn't marketed that way. It was marketed as "Hey, great new male body with two options in one! Default BOM, get it while it's hot!" So I did, and it IS a nice body (I prefer the "fit" version to the overly-muscled -- in my opinion -- "flex"), but I'm horribly put-off by the clothing being created for it.
Yep, I feel pretty much exactly the same. Legal Insanity is great, but I want like, Hoorenbeek, Cold Ash, Deadwool, and Kalback, too.

Which is sad because Kario is actually a great body. It has the ability to be scaled up and absolutely massive, or you can make it slimmer, or a very athletic looking buff guy, or whatever. And the fact that it's BoM only really lessens it's complexity. Plus the skins it come with were designed in a smart way, and are very high quality.

Legacy is absolutely a beautiful body, but both the complexity of the body itself as well as the hud keep me from making it his default. That hud makes me want to eat glass.I got Legacy Athletic, and the only use the HUD for 1) Turning on BoM and 2) Alphas, sometimes. Other than that, I have basically no use for the HUD, so its poor design doesn't bother me.

First, at the moment, I believe it is still on sale for %50 off. While normally L$ 3k, you can pick it up for L$ 1,500. The other two top bodies are in the L$ 4k to L$ 5k range.
Second, it has significant third-party support, so you will have no problem finding skins and clothing that fit it.
Third, it is pretty easy to use. You just put on the BOM version and you are pretty much set. In addition, the HUD is also straight forward.
ONE caveat though, it MUST be pared with either a fully BENTO AO or a BENTO Hand Animator that is used together with an older, Non-BENTO AO. This is important to avoid a hand animation glitch that often affect the Jake body.
As others have said, however, ALWAYS try out the DEMOs first; no matter the item. This is, by far, the MOST sound advice you will ever get on Second Life.
Interesting. What do you think of Legacy Athletic vs Belleza Jake? Putting price aside for a moment.

I recently switched to Legacy Athletic, from Kario, and I can get a build that looks almost identical, except that Legacy has access to far more clothing, including my favorites, Deadwool, Hoorenbeek, Cold Ash, and Legal Insanity.

A friend told me that the only real difference between male bodies is marketing(and clothing support, but that's not the core of the topic).
Are they correct? Can I really get the exact same shape on, say, Gianni, Kario, Legacy, and Jake? Wouldn't it look the same with the same skins and stuff?

I just can't find any good hair for him. Though I do like the Lelutka Skyler hair bases, I can't find anything I like in Modulus. The hairstyle are too femine or silly looking for my taste.

Male body skins(BoM)?

I guess the demo in the store only used the applier HUD and has no BoM demos. I was just there and the demo did not have BoM and so I was hesitant to purchase it.
