So, my dear friend was banned (I suspect, perma ban) because of some his stupid actions, and false judgement of LL support investigation team.
Story is: my friend got some problems with his credit card bank, and for some time become unable to do international payments, including payments to SL. Unfortunately, my friend isn’t one of people who able to wait, instead, he found some group of people in social networks, who say to sell L$. I still wish he would ask me, or any other friend from SL before purchasing around 12k L$ from those guys. One day later, his account become banned.
Support team said, he was banned because "unauthorized access to other person account", so I think, those shady 3rd party sellers did hack somebody else to get L$, gave all of them to my friend, and since he was last in chain of transactions, LL decide that he was the hacker, while in fact he’s a mere dumb dude unable to wait few weeks.
He plays SL from 2010, was premium user for quite a long time, spent lot of funds into the game over those years, and is dear friend of mine. Support don’t want to listen to any reason, and keep insisting he’s a hacker because they say so. Is there any way to move this case into more serious investigation or get his account get unbanned?
