  1. I think just keep trying to contact the seller. If the person doesn't respond back after a month has passed. Personally I wouldn't bother buying from that person and store and place again. I think it is quite unprofessional and very bad business to ignore a customer. Now could be the creator is busy but if lots of time passes and you don't hear anything back. You would be better off walking away and buying hair from elsewhere. It is totally understandable that designers get busy but if there is a fault with a product it needs reporting and fixing. So it is good that you are trying to IM the hair seller.

What is the traffic at your store?
(no, not the region where you rent, but really your store)

You don't have to tell me, or in public, but if your store isn't able to give a revenue of 80 L$ a marketplace representation might be the first ( and only) to aim at, and if that looks like people want your items, rent a small mainland parcel.
The same as in the first post: if your items aren't wanted, you can rent even a full high traffic region, but will still not sell.

Ok I will look for a parcel or a place on mainland like you say and do that. Thanks very much.

  3. I was barely getting anyone drop in. I was renting for nearly 2 years. People were more focused on the fishing it seemed. It is fish hunt HQ. It tends to have a lot of people fishing there but people didn't seem to be interested in the shop. I would see maybe 1 or 2 people go in but only for gifts I had out in there. I did enjoy being there but like I say the space has now been made smaller twice now and there isn't enough room to put much out at all. I do also have a marketplace store aswell. I tend to do ok on marketplace from time to time but it has been very rare to make a sale inworld.

  4. I was renting at a business park for a while but the rent has now got more expensive and the shop space made so much smaller also. I was spending 50L a week for a nice 100 prim store but the building swapped and space made much smaller now and expected to pay 80L$ a week for an extremely tiny space. I was going to write a forum post myself asking if anyone knows any good places that rent out nice sized shop spaces as i am now in need of a new shop space aswell. If anyone knows of any good sims renting out shops do let us know. I too i am hoping to find a new place to set up an inworld store now. I was renting at 1 place for months but now I won't be able to stay there as the space has been made even more expensive and too small.

  5. When I do fishing and lindo. Often the places ask you to join a group and if you don't the games won't work. Like with lindo.. the game won't work unless you are in group. It won't let you play the game and earn if you don't join the group. Not just that but you need group slots to join events and shops that you like as well. It is mostly clubs that tend to want you to join their group and places that have games I find. When I started sl I did think 42 group slots was enough but when you are playing games in sl and going to shopping places and clubs. There is a lot places that do want you to join their group otherwise you do get excluded from games and things.

  6. I do think that if I am going to mute the notifications of a group. normally i would tend to leave those ones to make room for something else. I do sometimes however worry when I leave groups because some people can get upset when you leave their group. I had it again earlier on I left a group and I got questioned about why I left it. Some people they don't seem to think about the limited amount of group spaces we get.

  7. Hi this post is going to be a bit ranty but I really do wish that there was more group slots for people who are not premium and that. Since every  place I go to like clubs and shops. A lot of places want you to join their group. A few times I have had to leave groups and then got stung with having to repay an entry fee on some of them also. I have even experienced losing a friend over leaving a group to make room for another. An old friend of mine on sl he got extremely mad when I left his group because I needed the group slot to join something else. I'm constantly having to leave and rejoin groups all the time. Even ones that have entry fees and I'm wondering if others struggle with the lack of group slots.

I am finding it really hard and quite limiting. I do feel like secondlife would be much better if we was allowed more slots if possible since a lot of places require you to join their group to partake in games like lindo, fishing or to stay updated on things. I know premium users they have this perk of having more slot spaces but if your not premium you can still be expected to join lots of groups just so you can take part in things.

  8. Hi there. I tend to hang around business park and I then often go to fishing places with people. Fish hunting tends to be quite social and I have met some awesome people when doing fishing in secondlife. You will find that you'll find quite a few people fishing and playing games to earn lindens. You can come to check out business park which is the place where the fish hunt HQ is and also goldhunt too.

    http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Business Park/98/158/22

There are also many fishing lands on LGH's website too that a lot of people go to. Most people will tend to be at the multiplier fishing events though mostly.

    http://www.goldtokens.net/

this goldtokens website is where you'll find more fishing lands and goldhunt lands where you could meet people :D

Other than that you'll generally find a lot of people at clubs too and other linden earning games around secondlife mostly :).

  9. I think group chat issues do need fixing because a lot of people enjoy chatting in them. From my own experience and also some close friends of mine. We can often be left quite annoyed and it really affects some people. Some groups that I am in are very important and when chats don't work.... people do get quite frustrated over it. One group for example which is  Goldhunters that I am in does tend to give out a lot of notifications of fishing events and goldrushes which is important to know. Then when people are not able to respond back in that chat because of lagg issues or messages getting dropped and not coming through properly. It does get quite annoying because it is a very social group with a lot of members and people do like to be able to talk to each other within that group chat. I hope that lagg issues and performance issues of group chats gets fixed and sorted out because it is a shame when things do lagg and don't work properly because then important information gets lost and messages.
