[My Secondlife profile partially wiped]

[Trying to make tattoo but transparent parts show up as white]

I'm trying to make my own tattoo and used a template so i got the placement right. i even hid the template and saved it as a png before uploading it to sl. but all the transparent parts show up as white when i put it on the avatar. Am i missing something?
