  1. I use it and I love it but that's just my opinion.

Keep in mind, when you use it, you have to wear the clothes rigged for it specifically. Stuff rigged for maitreya will be too big. And always demo. Some items will state that they're rigged for petite but when you try them it's not a good fit.

The number of creators making stuff for it is growing. I'm seeing more and more creators rigging for petite at the events I've been attending. You can use these flickr pages to find clothes being released for it, as well as, as people have said before, joining the maitreya petite friends group inworld (they have group posts whenever a new item for petite comes out).

Here's an extensive list of known stores that have started making stuff for it https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1bgrCOOxUElCujP5qJzk6zR1IB0KfyFZ4Hlg7Xup7FSs/edit#gid=224622845

The itty bitty comittee has closed but petite friends have an event going on with a shopping area (which also has some gifts).

And last but not least, if your wife wants to make her petite add on look perfect, definitely try Izzie's add on. It's an absolute lifesaver.

When did Legacy become so popular? I was under the impression it had a bad reputation because it was maybe linked to TMP? I wasn't around long enough to know the whole history.

Their reputation isn't great but I guess there are people who didn't know about that and still like their bodies, or people who are willing to put it in the past.

They also gave out a very good dollarbie mesh body, which might have helped people become aware of who they were and improve their reputation a bit.

I think I heard people praising the shape of them and how realistic they look or something. You'll have to ask someone who owns the body.

  3. If you still want to know ways to advertise it:

You could try making a post on the many freebie facebook or flickr groups. Some of them have thousands of members.

You could try giving it out as a Stay At Home Club gift. They'll make a facebook post about it and put it on their website. A lot of people follow them to get gifts.

Or you could try getting in touch with someone who runs a freebie blog.

I try the demo but when the breast size is less than 25 we can see breast even on maitreya cloth. I had the same kind of problem with lara and expected that with petitit would works welll.

Did you update your Lara body to v5.2? It won't work otherwise.

Or, probably less likely to be the case, are you wearing a BOM skin without having activated BOM on your body?

  5. For anyone curious (not a lot of people), I went to the Itty bitty committee event. Not a lot of stuff there was my style, but I did end up buying two items.

First was this sweater from erratic, who I feel are going to make a lot more stuff for petite in the future:

Next  was this dress from Kara, for which I bought the fatpack

There's also this group gift from cheezu (group is 50L$ to join)

In the viewer tweak the ambient light to get more contrast. Depending on the viewer you use it is in different places. Firestorm has Phototools which is the easy way to make adjustments. The is D button for default so it is easy to restore settings. Play and experiment.

If you aren't into tweaking individual settings, use the Windlight/EEP environment settings to quickly change things.

    Thank you!

  7. I'm with Lillith, I don't think that's a mesh body you can get in SL.

I think if you purchase a Belleza Freya/Legacy Perky or even Maitreya Lara and crank up the breast sliders to 100 you could possibly get something similar (disclaimer: never tried it myself)

Well this raises a lot of questions... you'll probably need to add in your support ticket:

    a) Do you have any idea which specific event they were talking about? (seems like something adult, when's the last time you visited an adult region?)

    b) Do you have pictures from that event?

    c) What were you wearing? (mesh body, mesh head, clothes...)

    d) Was anyone with you? Can they corroborate your story?

Good luck getting your account back!

Edit: I just checked the 1st thing they said. Maybe it wasn't you, it was someone else dressed inappropriately. Can you check if anyone else you were with has been banned?

  9. Been mentioned a lot of times already, but Doux hairstyles seems a bit similar to what you have on, if that's what you like.

I also like Olive, Mina, Ayashi and Limerence, Moon, Truth and Navy+Copper.

  10. I'm probably bringing up a wrong example, but maybe furries? In RL it's seen as weird to dress up in an anthropomorphic costume but in SL people won't treat you any differently. Not saying being a furry is wrong or anything, just that it's seen differently in the virtual world compared to the real world.

I was just thinking something similar the other day, about how some things that are definitely not OK in real life are just fine in SL.

Take cultural appropriation. We all know now that if we are white and wear items that have great significance to other cultures, we are going to cop a lot of flack about it. But if you have a white avatar on SL and want to take a pretty picture for your Flickr, the sky is the limit! Make that white avatar a geisha, or put her in a Native American headdress. Nobody will bat an eyelid and you'll get heaps of faves. And kink! It's perfectly OK for your avatar to walk around with her and body face beaten up, and for you to post pictures of her on your Flickr because "no kink shaming", never mind the increasing issues in the world with violence against women.

Dressing up in clothes from any culture, even if it isn't yours, should be perfectly acceptable in RL as well. It's unfortunate that some people make it seem bad so that people are afraid to do it.

can i do not use the head because what i know is the makeup cannot use to mix and match with other makeup and it is only specific for only that head. and i do not want to waste my money to find a head.

Sure, lots of people in SL choose not to switch to mesh.

Makeup is slowly switching over to bakes on mesh or using omega appliers which can be used on any head. Although some creators make appliers for specific heads.

jeez it is still expensive their head. is there no free head?

Unfortunately, mesh heads are some of the most expensive items in SL.

If you really can't afford it, you can try to wait until Genus is back (which might take a while... at worst, a few months). Their free head is really good.

Or you can continue with classic avatar.

  13. In addition to the brands listed above, there's LAQ, Akeruka, Altamura, Genesis Labs and all sorts of other creators, but they don't have as much support as the big three. Try to check out stores and demo whatever looks good to you.

For your free heads question...Genus had a free head at their store but now that it's shut down you can't get it until they reopen

Akeruka has a special head for their group. It costs L$151, L$150 to join the group and L$1 to buy it from the vendor

You can check out whatever's on this list https://ryanschultz.com/2018/09/24/second-life-steals-deals-and-freebies-free-mesh-heads-and-bodies-for-female-second-life-avatars/. Keep in mind that some stuff is now unavailable.

There are several brands to pick from. Catwa, Genus and Lelutka are probably the largest brands for mesh heads, though Genus are currently unavailable. The 'average' price for all of them if I recall correctly is at around L$5,000.

Atm Lelutka's heads are priced at L$3990 until further notice. When the genus store reopened after the first dmca, the heads were priced at L$3300
