What I do all day is boring. Which is why I spend part of that day in SL. In SL I used to go around trying to meet new people. Now I mostly spend time with.one of those people I met

I just standing there with my AO and the hand shapes in the Jake HUD.

If you have a separate hand pose try clicking on that and see if it corrects the way she sees your hand.  I know that I could see my hands fine but if I didn't click the hand pose again other would see my hands splayed like the left photo.  Worth a try.

This has probably been discussed before but its an issue I just discovered. the two pictures below were taken at the same time, one by me, one by the lady next to me. In my picture on the right my hands look like they are supposed to , in hers on the left they are all spread out, Is there something i can do so my hands look right to her and everyone else, I am using beliza jake,

Yes in the flowers that are growing out of the water, I am about chest deep in it. Much dryer and more comfortable here.

I think one of the reasons people think it's hard to make friends in SL is they have unreasonable expectations. How many people do you interact with every day in RL. Quite a lot, and how many of those are people you are friends with, probably just a small percentage. But people come to SL talk to 7 or 8 people, don't find a best friend, and think SL isn't a friendly place. Just get out there, be yourself, enjoy the interactions you have whether it is a one time chat or something longer. You will make friends. You might even find magic.
