More rules for residents because of recent allegations against staff is not the solution to those allegations. It's pandering to people who skimmed over the whole thing and assumed there was guilt.

To elaborate here .. even something simple like banning child avatars from proximity to adult content is a train wreck that makes it unsafe to have a child avatar anywhere in SL.

In practice "proximity" means that a child avatar can't be in a boat, even an innocent boat, because every other boat is really a boat shaped sex bed.

How do child avatars shop for furniture .. all stores sell PG and Adult side by side.

How do child avatars exist in public spaces where anyone can walk up sporting no end of spicy content.

What if someone rezzes a mobile sex bed (aka a CAR) on M land, drives it on mainland roads, and passes a child avatar. That child avatar on G land and is now in proximity.

Restricting child avatars to G land is also not a solution, mainland is hopscotch of G and M (with some private A regions just for fun). So restricting to G actually bans child avatars from region crossings.

This isn't hyperbole .. the original rules and definitions are so fuzzy because of issues like this, LL couldn't solve this back in 2007 in a way that didn't outlaw an entire section of the community as a side effect.

You're thinking too much into it!!
Even in real life they can't prevent incidents from happening, what matters is that there's now rules and poeple should abide to it!!

if you want to be a child in SL; be completely a child just like RL ( you're not adult and you'll be treated as child ) deal with it, that's the child's normal life, stop trying to find excuses!

When I was new to second life and bought my first land, I bought a script from the market place for 10$L after I used it I noticed lots of bots coming to my parcel, I was new and I didn't know what they are, anyway that last for almost 2 years and I kept using the same script all these times with bot showing one after another daily, until I didn't use the script on one of my lands and no bot showed up, and i did the same with another land, still no bot showed up, I fianlly realised the connection between the bots and the script, so I deleted the scripts from all my lands and never used it again ( there is still bots show up in the land I used the scripts on but less than before, but no bot show at all in a land i never used the script on ) now I avoid that store on MP and never buy anything from it again!

so sometimes the bots show up because of something you're using in your land, it just a guess!

I really like this pet idea, it reminds of the pet you get as your guide when you do the fantasy fair quest, I liked having them!

If it weren't for my sister, I would not have known about Second life, she saw an ad for it, and suggest that we try it, so later we all registered in the same day, me, my sister and our other sister too, they spent less than a month there ( was fun silly days ) and left, only I styed, everyone in my family knows about SL but they're not interested.

I had a reply to my support ticket and it worked, I just needed to change the DNS, try it, hopefully it will work for you too!

I'm back with a Fantasy home again, hopefully this time I would be able to fishish the whole tree house and not just the outside, I used the same landscape I used for the old one 2 years ago, but with some changes and adjusment to fit with the tree house!

It's been awhile since I activly search the mainland for new land to buy, this time I wanted a snow land becuase of course winter!
and I found a big abandoned land in a nice area coverd with linden tress, I really liked how the trees looked and how it's randomly scattered all around the land; it looked like "a raw" nature and I immediately had an idea on how to make use of it, so I submit a ticket asking to buy part of the bandoned land and asked specifically not to remove the trees!
I had the perfect cabin that can fit between the trees and there was no real need for landcaping just added extra tall trees here and there to give the scene some depth and that's it, I like how it's turned out; simple but gave me a beautiful view.
