  1. "The migration of Second Life®’s simulators and services to the Cloud (AWS Services) has been a massive and on-going project. All of SL® user data will soon be transferred and stored in AWS machines owned by Amazon. Some questions continue to remain unanswered, but users should see a number of improvements throughout the grid by the end of 2020." Read more on the blog.

It’s my favourite time of the year and there are so many beautifully coloured and vibrant autumn scenes in the selection this month. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do." Read more on the blog.

  6. "I want to get better at photo processing, so I have a few questions for you guys... 1. What software do you use to process your photos? 2. How long does it take you to process a single photo? 3. I'm looking for beautiful bokeh material. Where do you get the materials you use to process your photos? 4. What did you look at to learn about photo processing?" Click over to read more questions and respond on Flickr.
  7. "So, apparently I really like this SIM. This is the third post I’ve made here since August. Oh well" Read more on the blog.
  8. "Today we are going to visit Snow Globe, the wintry sim where some of us have been styling abodes in that 50 land impact manner. Not only is it lovely landscape, it offers free houses and skyboxes. Partly because I try to pay attention and partly because I seem to be very lucky in the apartment, house and land areas -- I garnered this oh so cute cabin in a fit of speediness. 10. "Remembrance Day ceremonies around the world have been downscaled or even cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, so today I decided to load up an alt and pay a visit to the 14th SL Veterans’ Tribute sim" Read more on the blog.
  11. "One of my favorite creators, Janire Coba, is having a great hunt at her store, Belle Epoque, for its 5th birthday. The hunt is on until the 30th and you’re searching for tiny cakes spread all over the store. On top of that, her items are discounted by 50% until the 15th." Read more on the blog.
  12. "This is a grand finale, a sad farewell to show our gratitude to UWA and all that they did for us as artists, curators, and residents of SL. Their work brought life and beauty to all of us and made the art world in Second Life a thing to behold." Read more on the blog.
  13. "It’s 5am and my 74yr old mother is dancing through the house singing Beyonce’s “Single Ladies.” I don’t even think she realizes what she’s singing, but she’s doing a well enough job that I recognize the song." Read more on the blog.
  14. "Yesterday morning was very odd. You see, a few weeks ago a friend of mine was killed in a car accident, and the funeral was yesterday. Now, because of the new lockdown measures in England, I was unable to travel to the funeral. I was actually quite upset that I couldn’t go, but I knew I wasn’t the only one. The service was live streamed over the interweb, and the link was sent to me a few days beforehand." Read more on the blog.
  15. "So obviously the title of this post is a take on the popular “Chicken Soup for the Soul” books which, after doing a Google Search, I found out they not only sell the huge collection of books but also pet food…yes, pet food! It has been years since I read one of the books but I do remember enjoying the few I saw." Read more on the blog.
  16. "Not sure if that ever happened to you in the past, but did you ever walk down the street, and when briefly glancing up, you get a glimpse of someone that looks exactly like you? They do say we all have a twin out there. I believe that. We all come from the same place, after all, even if our skins have different colors, speak different languages, have different cultural backgrounds, all this is just the icing…the cake itself has the same ingredients." 17. "We’re about a week into November and unless you have been living under a rock somewhere (was it nice, did you make it like real cosy and stuff?) I don’t need to tell you that the political climate has been pretty hot lately. As for the actual climate, you can deny the existence of climate change till the cows come home, but when I look at average temperatures now, it is increasingly harder to deny that November is much milder than it used to be when I first arrived in Stockholm many moons ago."
