"Edie Horngold logged the first time in Second Life on 31 July 2009. Edie is often inspired by music. The music expands her mind and helps her to open heart. As she said, a lot of the titles for her work come from songs. Edie likes creating strong visual simplicity." Read more on the blog.

Caitlin Tobias : The wheels of Drune Diesel City
Strawberry Linden posted a blog entry in Community News
"Once again a superb Drune arrived in Second Life! I’ve been a fan of most of the Drune versions, though the real cyberpunk ones where my favorites – the one we filmed in for Stömol for instance." Read more on the blog. -
"The current pandemic has shown us the real value of educating the public about how scientific principles are applied to practical matters. Social distancing, masks, vaccines, tracing via testing are all practical steps to take in preventing the spread of diseases and all are the product of scientific research. The steps in moving a basic science discovery to the practical use of that knowledge or innovation have always been many and varied." Read more on the blog.

"With the opening on the Alpine theme homes (see: Lab announces Linden Homes Chalet Theme released), Satori and all points north (including Blake Sea and Second Norway) have directly connected to Jeogeot and Sansara (and points north) via Bellisseria. This set me wondering what it would be like to complete an “epic voyage” by either boat or aircraft (or possibly both, and perhaps even with a land vehicle or two) through all or some of the connected lands." "The first of the month means a new round of FaMESHed in a few hours. There you will find, among other things, a charming new cottage from Dutchie. I had originally planned to show it at my own sim, but I realised that the beach I have setup wouldn’t do it justice." Read more on the blog.

"This set is brilliant for anyone who likes to be a family in SL and add members to that family. The ribbons, flags and bows all come in pink, blue or mix of both. "“WHAT IN TARNATION DID YOU DO TO YOUR HAIR?!” She almost didn’t register that the question was directed at her. She’d gotten so used to different colors and styles that it completely missed her that someone might not be ok with whatever color she’d chosen that day. It wasn’t until she looked up and saw her mother’s gaze trained on her – and most notably her now magenta toned hair – that she even knew she was being addressed." Read more on the blog.

Museums, art galleries, non-profits and music are also a focus — artists and support groups are often promoted on social media platforms and the Second Life® Destination Guide. The almost 18-year-old virtual world is vibrant and growing, but more is coming for 2021." Read more on the blog.
