Who knows of some ways in which we can combat this effect and still stay on Second Life the amount of time we do?

What makes you think that people are idly sitting in an office chair when they use their computer? :) I, for one, am often walking, jogging or biking when I browse the web or play Second Life, for at least two hours a day.

This is my treadmill setup. I've added a little desk and a monitor platform:

It's hard to type while I'm jogging, so I usually either walk at a medium pace or stick to computer activities that don't require typing, such as reading news articles or forums.

What works much better for all kinds of online activities is a stationary bicycle, which is the newest addition to my little multimedia fitness studio:

Instead of a monitor, I use my 50" plasma TV. But the little selfmade desk would also be perfectly suited for a notebook.

I'm amazed that nobody sells something like this as of yet. One should think that in a world where more and more people are online for 12 hours a day or more, a lot of them would be looking for a way to stay connected while working out.

And a stationary bicycle is just perfect for computer work. I often don't even notice anymore that I'm using my legs. I could sit there and work or chat while pedaling away for hours on end, and I often do just that. A padded gel cover for the saddle is a must of course :)

PS: Every workplace should have one of these, imho. The employees could take turns during the day. Imagine what that could do for the public health.

    I need the same,lol

    Hmm .. where to start.

Let start with head and body.  These are going to be made by different people.  As a result, one will not "talk" to the other.  The skin presets for the Maitreya Lara HUD only change the skin on the Maitreya Lara body.  So let's start with opening that HUD, going to the Skin tab and clicking on the tone that you want your body top be.

Now let's talk about the head.  CLEO BENTO HEAD. Do you know who makes this?  Is it a Catwa head or some other brand maybe?

While waiting on that answer ... the way to get a head and body to match are buy using skin appliers.  People who make skins will have appliers for both head and body.  These will always be two different appliers so they can match whichever head or body you use.  If you want to use one of the skin tones that comes with the Maitreya Lara body, you can find that those are all Glam Affair skins.  Try shopping there to see if they make an applier for your brand of head.

Cleo is akeruka anniversary gift, it's full deluxe head(like you the same functions if you buy head for 5000l)but Cleo is 1l for group members

Thought I would share this...  It may be helpful for helping me...

I have the LARA body...  I just got the BENTO CLEO HEAD and it did come with LARA skin appliers.  I 'assumed' the LARA skin appliers were for the head skin.  But, when I applied one...  It did not change the head skin color at all.  It only changed the skin color from the neck down.  Originally the skin color from the neck down was the ONLY skin tone I was happy with.  But, now from the neck down the skin tone is wrong.

As a side note...  The only color choices that seemed to be with the new BENTO CLEO HEAD I just got are 'darker/ tan' hues.  Where as my avi is maybe 2 shades above porcelain.  I will look at the LARA skin hud to see if I can change it?

Lara skin applier is BODY ONLY  to fit the DEFAULT AKERUKA SKIN that you see after add the head.Lara hud skins are NOT FIT AKERUKA head skin. Because lara hud includes glam affair okd skins.

I understand lag which is why I always land flying so I can shoot up a bit which is usually possible even if it's laggy.  Plus I'm not talking about crowded events, I mean just normal places with a few people that isn't swimming in lag.

Ok,in some cases person's computer is not very strong and can be lag no matter how many people there:) I wish to be not laggy at normal place)
