My very first picture I've taken to start off my journey on becoming a better photographer. I created my own Flickr account today since I saw many others having one of their own, thought it would be fun. Not sure if this is allowed or not but here is a link to my Flickr, if anyone is interested in following me on my journey on becoming a better photographer. Or if anyone wants to follow me just because, hehe. If anyone has any tips on becoming better, what I can do to improve, what I can buy to help my pictures look nicer, then please let me know.

So far the only thing I know, from a friend, is use "ctrl + 0" and "ctrl + 9" to zoom instead of using mouse wheel. Are there any items I would need to buy in-game to help me with taking pictures? I'll look more into the "Black Dragon Viewer". I also already have GIMP so hopefully it's good enough, I'm not trying to become a professional or make this my job or anything, just for funsies. If anyone has more tips let me know! :3

Oh it's all for fun, but what is fun for me is making them look as good as possible. I am in no way doing this to gain a big following or make money off of it. Thank you for telling me about GIMP, seems I already had it installed on my PC. Must have downloaded it a LONG time ago, thank you! Although not quite sure what people do exactly to make their pictures look better.

I thought I would make my own Flickr account to upload pictures of myself so people could see. Making this post to see if anyone has any tips for me, what kind of pictures I should upload and any tips on becoming better at taking pictures of myself. I'd like to learn how to take better pictures so people would be more willing to follow me and stuff, are there any tips for me to becoming better? I'm still pretty new to SL, only about 13 days in so far. I know how to take pictures and stuff but is there stuff people do to make their pictures look better? Am I suppose to get photoshop or some sort of picture editing software to make them look better? I'm clueless and don't know anything, I'd love to learn it all. Okie dokes sounds like fun. I just wanted to do it for a club, not for money really, but to meet new people and have fun. I wouldn't like to keep dancing from place to place really. But I can try doing some public ones. Also, what do you mean by get some experience? I thought you just get on the pole and start dancing, it seems pretty easy to me. Am I missing something? I'm still trying to learn everything sorry for asking and thank you for replying!

Okie well maybe a small club can let me in, I don't understand why the age of an account would matter. I don't care how big a club is, just as long as it has enough people to dance with and talk too for fun and stuff.

I'm still new to SecondLife, I've only been playing for a week or maybe a little over a week. I was lucky enough to find a special someone who ended up giving me ALOT of money, or at least, alot to me. ( About 20,000 lindens. ) In all of my time of playing I've just been customizing my own character and browsing the marketplace for clothes and outfits for my character to wear so I can look cute. I think I've done enough so far to be able to actually start playing and having fun. So that's why I'm making this post. I know I can use the search feature but I've tried and all the clubs I've found have been empty. Maybe because they are only active at certain times and I checked at a bad time maybe? I have more than enough money to buy as many outfits and accessories that I want as well. So if you're a club owner and you'd like seeing me wear a specific type of outfit, just let me know. The only times I'm not online is when I'm sleeping IRL, which is only for about 3-6 hours. Other than that, I spend all of my time on SecondLife. I DO NOT AND WILL NOT USE VOICE CHAT. I live with my family, which consists of my 3 sisters, 1 sisters boyfriend and my mother. AND we have 4 dogs, who bark and play with each other alot. So it's pretty loud in my house most of the time. Even if I did live alone, I probably wouldn't do voice anyways to be honest, just not something I'm into. ( maybe ) My age in SecondLife and Real Life are both 21 years old. I live in America and I am in the Eastern timezone. Timezones really don't matter to me much since I'm online all of the time I'm awake, I usually stay up for 12-15 hours and I'm on the whole time. Hi there! So today I rented my first piece of land and it is a 1760 sqm sky area with 697 prims. I've bought a house for it but after buying it and fooling around with the decorations and furniture I came up with the idea of having my own nightclub for people and my friends to come hang out, chill, talk, dance and stuff. It's in the sky so I have no neighbors or anything. But I was thinking I could keep it nighttime at all times, am I able to do that? I'm still new I've only been playing for 5 days, still learning! >>> The main reason why I'm making this thread is to find someone to be able to help me and even run the place with me if they wanted too! <<< I would love to make it open to the public and have it so anyone is able to TP and come dance or hang out with each other. I know there are probably way too many clubs and no one will come to mine but, I want to try! Even if no one comes, I would still have it for me and my friends. ^-^ If anyone is willing to help me with my idea and help me set this up and also even operate the whole club with me, with advertising and getting people to come and stuff, please IM me in-game @Jixxur! I'm looking to buy my first house, I want a house with a price of $500/w or lower. I want the most prims as possible. So far I've found a rental for 406 prims for $349 lindens a week, BUT it's in the sky. Which I don't really mind at all. BUT!!!!!!!!! Would it be possible to buy a private island ALL TO MYSELF? I see private islands but they have neighbors and it makes the place more laggy for me. I would like my own island with a beach and everything with no neighbors. Is that possible? I'm not wanting to spend any real $$$, I only want to spend the lindens I have at the moment. If not then I will just go with the skybox I found, I think 406 prims for only $349 a week is really good.
