  1. Hosts will provide interaction with patrons of Music Underground with a fun and energetic experience free of drama. Hosts will welcome all new and returning patrons. Hosts will encourage crowd participation, post notices in regards to the show in the Group and Elite chats. Hosts will promote Music Underground Facebook, Flikr, Elite Group, and upcoming events. Hosts will not engage in arguing or drama with patrons. If issues arise, contact a manager. Hosts will not engage in negative comments in local or group chats. Hosts will contact the previous Host 15 minutes before set end. Hosts will promote the next show 30 minutes and 15 minutes before show end. Hosts will do a group welcome at the beginning of a show and half time. Hosts will thank the crowd at end of the show. Host will welcome oncoming DJ and Hosts. Hosts will encourage tipping the DJ at 15 and 45 minutes. Hosts will promote Elite Membership 20, 40, 80, and 100 minutes into the sets. (ex: 1220, 1240, 0120, 0140.) Hosts will encourage TPing of guests at the beginning of set, 30 minutes, half time 30 minutes before end of set. Host pay is 90% of tips. 10% is for the club to help pay tier, promotion, and prizes.
  2. DJ's will play live music based on a schedule after passing an interview and audition. DJ's playing in the Peak Performance times, must utilize a microphone. DJ's will play for a one or two hour slot. (Tag Team DJing is ok, but both DJ's must audition together.) DJ's will engage the audience either through microphone or messaging every show. DJ's are required to check in with the Manager 30 minutes prior to set. If a DJ is a no call/no show, Music Underground may terminate employment. If a DJ cannot spin, a minimum of 24 hour notice is preferred. Missing more than 2 shifts in a month may constitute a dismissal from Music Underground employment. DJ's will promote the upcoming DJ at 30 minutes and 15 minutes before end of set. DJ's will notify the current DJ 15 minutes prior to the start of their shift. DJ's leaving their shift will follow the following countdown procedure: 1. Notify oncoming DJ of 10 minutes before end of set. 2. Notify oncoming DJ of 5 minutes before end of set. 3. Leave the stage and tip jar 3 minutes before the end of set. 4. Notify oncoming DJ that tip jar and stage is theirs. 5. Notify oncoming DJ of 2 minutes before end of set. 6. Notify oncoming DJ of 1 minute before end of set. 7. Notify oncoming DJ of 30 seconds, next is go before end of set. 8. Notify oncoming DJ of a "GO" at the end of set. Dj's may promote their DJ group once per hour of a set. Dj's will not use the microphone to belittle or shame patrons. This includes ex's or ex friends. Dj's will not use their position in a negative way to harm any patron or the reputation of Music Underground. DJ pay is 90% of tips. 10% is for the club to help pay tier, promotion, and prizes.
  3. Music Underground Manager Job Description Managers will moderate Music Underground Club by upholding the rules of the club. Managers will monitor for griefers and moderate inappropriate patrons. Managers may eject and ban for: 1. Griefers 2. After speaking to an inappropriate patron. Patrons must be reached in IM in a professional manner. All conversations will need to be Gyazo or Screencaptured and turned into the Owners to document. 3. Inappropriate *****. Managing talent: 1. DJ and Host call is 30 minutes before the start of the set. 2. Managers will be responsible for making sure any vacant slots are filled by reaching out to other talent to fill it. - If a Host does not show and a backup cannot be found, the Manager will step into the role of host. The manger will receive the Host tip + manager payout. - If a DJ does not show and a backup DJ cannot be found, the Manager can step into the role of DJ or ensure that BRM Radio is playing on the land and organize a trivia game earning the DJ tip + Manager payout. 3. Managers will keep track of talent cancellations and replacements on the online spreadsheet, marking back ups and pick ups. 4. Managers will moderate simple grievances and ensure that negative comments stay out of the staff chat and attend to grievances in IM. 5. Managers will ensure that casual chat is not allowed in the staff chat. 6. Ensure that all new talent have the appropriate tags and ability to load their streams. IF there are issues with the Shoutcast, Managers will manually insert the streams into the land. Managing Elite Members: 1, Elite Members will have concierge services through the Managers. 2. Managers will moderate the Elite Members chat group and address any issues that arise. If an Elite Member issue cannot be resolved, the Manager will contact an Owner. 3. Managers will promote the Elite Member group once per hour during performances and will promote the raffle items for the next month. This can be done through a NC copy/paste. Manager pay: 1. Managers will receive a 5% of all tips during their shift. 2. At the end of the month, after tier has been paid, raffles have been paid, and hourly Elite give away has been paid, the profits will be split with the Managers based on their involvement level. 50% of the profits at the end of the month will go to managers to be divided by the number of Managers and hours put in. For example: If there are 4 managers who put in equal time and the 50% profit for Manager split is 10,000L, each manager would earn a bonus of 2500L at end of month. Weight will be added to number of hours a Manager works to the split of the bonus money at the end of the month. ***Managers that run efficient shifts, ensure that SL Event postings are done, and promote Elite Members, the higher the tip and bonus money will be for the Manager.
