Ello :-3 I am "noob" to second life, but I am having fun learning all the features and plan on sticking around for a long long time (dedicated 7+ years total to IMVU). I am looking for friends who like to Role Play out a fictional life in an alternative world (aka Second Life). I am looking to Role Play as an 18-year-old Asain girl who has just moved out of her parents' house and is living on her own in a small grungy apartment while working at a bookstore and attending school. Thanks, I will definitely look into them :-) From all the information that has been given out I have learned a lot. I've been getting more comfortable with SL and learned a few tricks. I don't plan on giving up, I am excited to get the hang of this and become a long term resident of SL!

I am eagerly trying to get ready to jump into Second Life and start role playing within a community, getting a local job, and possibly starting a family (when the time comes) however before I do that I am wanting to take some time to learn the "How To Do" of SL. I have been having a hard time with a few things (listed below) and would love it if someone would be able to take some time out of their day to show me / guide me on how some things work. I am a fast learner but reading the tutorials isn't seeming to help me very much, I think if someone could honestly walk me through a few things that I would be able to pick it up. 1. Changing Avatar Shape, Skin and adding hand and feet enhancers 2. Trying on clothes and reshaping them to fit my avatars shape 3. Adding cosmetics such as eyelashes, fingernails/toenails, and makeup. 4. I've heard of the LIFE HUD and I have tried to find it, if someone could point me in the right direction that would be great. I am trying to make SL my new social hang out spot for my husband and myself but it's a lot different and more in-depth than IMVU so I am sorry if I am asking a lot but I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help get me in the right direction.
