  1. Okayso.  There's a lot to read through here, what exactly is going on with this? I noticed it's not on the MP anymore where the promo was suppose to be.  Could someone condense this all for me, please?

  2. More accurately just listening, but old Twilight Zone episodes from Netflix.

I actually do like Twilight Zone and have seen it all so many times, it was a new years eve tradition for me and my mum as a kid, now I'm an adult who parties with friends.. and I partied harder than I did the previous year this time around and kinda.. forgot most of the night.  ya know what stinks about being bi-lingualish? you exchange words you know in English for others.

  3. ...I got a really cool cup for Christmas and an industrial. (ear piercing, it's a bar that goes through the top of the ear and it does hurt like a b-word for about a week, then after that anytime it's roughly nudged.)

You'd think a cup would suck, right? nah man.  IT'S THE COOLEST LOOKING THING EVER!  Like.. i can post a picture if anyone wants to see it, just qoute me.

Ignore this.. totes didn't read the title right and it's 4am.

  4. I prefer BOM for skin related things (eyebrows, tattoos, and the skin itself of course.) as it tends to blend better than an applier does, (for humans anyways.  Furries are another thing enterily as I don't see many BOM heads or mods.)

I prefer appliers for things like eyes, make-up, and other non-skin related things. (I do use BOM eyebrows though, way easier than using an applier and having to mod it with the hud.  Less lag for me too.)

To each their own though, it is a little sad that some creators aren't offering appliers with their skins (and some make ups, ect).

Oh, it's a great idea for stuff that isn't rigged. But for rigged clothes you do kinda have to see how it moves with the body.

As long as the creator was able to or had the time/power to, they could bring in either their alts with active AOs or hire people to.

I miss the shops that had active models in them, I like having a chance to know more about what I'm buying even if it's just copy/paste responses given to them by the maker.

I've seen several places that did that.  A few  had living dummies.. aka people who stayed there to model different outfits for different bodies.

Yup!  But I think they prefer being called living models, i know a few years back there was a skin dev who had models in their shop that were able to awnser questions about the skins. (It was nice.  Something that I'd love to see brought back)

  7. If the timed demo means I get to actually see all of the outfit or item I want to buy, I'd be happy.

It would give me a better idea of if it fits my general style without having to assume I'm getting what's being advertised, ads tend to use a lot of photoshop as a result you don't always get what you see.

If it wasn't going to add lag to the store, I wouldn't mind seeing demos on what would essentially be dummy.  There is a shop I knew of that did that with their products or they'd have it kinda hanging in place of where an ad would be.   They'd have all points of view filled or sealed to something to fill in where you'd have your body to prevent theft and left it unscripted.

  8. Hm...

People who chew with their mouths open or talk with a mouth full of food, the talking bit makes them sound like they have a mouth full of D.

My half "sister"... To put it short and sweet, Once she moves out, I will refuse her if she decides her relationship fails and she has to move back in.

I've actually got into physical fights with her, she goes from being annoying to rage-inducing real quick.

  9. It might be a setting, I think it's under privacy for IM related things.  If I was home right now I'd be able to double check, if I can tonight I will and edit this post.

There should be an option of "only friends can im you" or something along those lines.

If not, maybe she needs to do a clean reinstall of it.

Even better: if you have a bought full AO which you would like to use in the Firestorm AO and perhaps spice up with a few additions, you can import it quite easily.

Start with rezzing (a copy of) your AO on the ground, then "unpack" it by rightclicking and opening it or manually dragging its content to your inventory. Now open the FS AO panel and drag over the AO's config notecard and it should start adding a new set.

Works best if it isn't a no copy one.

Hm.. Alright, Imma give that a shot when I log in tonight to sort my inventory and delete stuff I don't remember ever buying.  ( or pack it in a box and forget about it, not sure yet. )

I have one of my other AOs unpacked and edited the notecard for it, I'll use that first before I rip a few others apart for animations that don't glitch into the body as much.

Depends... if you use the viewer AO of Firestorm, for example, I'd start with sorting single animations into subfolders like Walks, Stands, Swim, Fly etc, then drag and drop onto the interface part.

I've honestly never used Firestorm's AO feature, I'll give it a shot.  I'm so use to having to build the written list and then getting errors because I mistyped.

Tuty definitely has a curvy one... or perhaps even a combo of curvy and busty, not quite sure.

I'll have to go check! I really don't want to have to build my own, that's always a pain in the arse.
