I am having a similar crash issue with both the latest SL Viewer and Firestorm. I had bought a mesh bed. When I tried to rez it the rez was extremely slow. So slow I thought it didn't work so I tried again. Now I have two beds pretty close to being inside each other. When I tried to right-click on one of the beds to delete it both viewers did an instant crash. Left click works and brings up the beds menu, but the very second I right click on it my viewer dies. Any suggestions on getting rid of this issue would be appreciated. I can't even move the bed(s) to a more appropriate location.
