    Kelli I just adore your pirate outfit, that is great looking!

    Raven you are gorgeous in that gown.

    Mesh or Prim clothing - what's your preference?

    I like a combination of prim and mesh. I like some mesh tops with prim skirts with mesh over-the-knee boots. I don't much like alpha layers for bottoms though as all of them make me have a huge backside and my avatar is very slender and willowy. I buy clothes to "mix and match" because an entire mesh outfit just looks like a lifeless mesh outfit to me. There is no movement to the clothes. But add something prim to that, like a skirt, and you get some of both. 

    I agree that some mesh clothes often look so much better in the adverts.

    @ Raven - I love that hair, very cute short style. I've only been able to find a couple shorts ones that I like but yours would be one of them.

     

    @ Saraya - Wow stunning! Everything about your avatar is polished. How did you get your makeup so perfect? And did your eyebrows just come like that, matching the hair?

     

    @ Anna - Your look is just amazing, so that is a Slink body there?

    I am a couple months old in SL and I struggled very hard with learning to dress myself. If you want someone inworld to talk to about it please IM me. I would love to have a dressing buddy. I have most issues figured out (using all of that above great information). Sometimes though it is just easier when there is someone right there to talk to. :) I am EST.

     @ UncommonTruth - The headband, if you just put "LouLou headband" into the MP search you will find it. I love it, it's pretty snazzy, lol, thank you! Also, your avatar and photography are really impressive.

    You can try Rotten Toe, they have a plus sized avatar shape and skin, but it is $350L. But you said "try for free", so they might have an inworld demo, I do not recall from my visit to their store. There is a MP demo.

    I would add "Plus" to the search criteria.

    Hi there! I need someone to help me with some basic-slightly complex tasks and to answer questions I have. My questions sometimes get detailed so I think there is at least a few hours work here.

     

    Here are some of the specific tasks and questions I want to cover:

    What can I do with the current skybox platform that I have at 3800. Can I move that lower, if so, how.  How change texture. How join group where I make payments.

    I want to rez and use the faux rez for a house; then derez it. I want to learn how to position the house correctly with the faux rez.

    Help me rez a panoramic view demo and then advise on how to get rid of it after I see it. Instruct on use of the base that comes with the panoramic view. Advise and instruct on changing textures.

    Help me install this Atmospheric Skybox (which should open in a new window):

    The Pavillion

    What do I do with the current skybox? Do I need flight assist of some kind to do this? Also, I want to know how to derez it. I want to go over all the controls. I want to understand how to attach another atmospheric skybox if I want.

    I want to know about making blocks and what is a block anyhow and why would I want to make one?

    How to create a prim. What to do with said prim. Prim lessons.

    Editing lessons.

    Discussion of teleportation devices.

    Visit the Land Below My Skybox.

    How to keep people out of my skybox?

     

    Gosh I have more questions but that will do it for now.

    Please let me know your hourly wage and hours available.

    Short version: 

    Newbie seeks exploration pal(s) to see SL sights. :]

     

    Long version:  

    I am a newbie who has seen some fabulous places but had no one to exclaim over them with. I would like to find more great areas to explore. Perhaps you have been to places but have no one to show them to? I seek a traveling companion or 2 or 3 to join with me in exploring SL.

     I love gardens, architecture, landscapes, seas, space, forests, fantasy-scapes, gothic, dark places. I love to shop and to dress up so if you just want a shopping buddy I am into that kind of exploration too. XD 

     My inworld profile tells a bit more about me. Female, married irl, 2 Bengal cats, fairly chatty, not too shy. Right now on SL mostly I have been exploring and dressing up. My avatar tends to wear long black coats and jeans or leggings with boots. I am on the East Coast so EST. I am available most weekends for exploration but am limited on week nights to just an hour here or there.

     I hope to hear from you! We can meet somewhere to talk first of course. Send me an IM inworld or a notecard. 

    Deleting scripts on avatar and other questions

    Hello Uncomon Truth, thank you so much for your reply. I now see where the scripts reside so that is very helpful! I have to ask...how does one learn how to edit from that box? There are so many buttons, I guess there is a tutorial out there, I can find it, but if it is easy please let me know, lol. 

    My items are super orgainzed so I am not going to to worry about linked items now that I know there is no max on inventory. I just didnt' want to delete something and have it ruin an outfit. Thank you! Also I think I was confused when I wrote the question. 

    So I just need to find out about HUDs, I'll see if you are online sometime. 

    Oh what is a lola tango please?
