    other people will have recommendations but for something like that look then I would start with group gifts, MM and lucky board gifts from for example:
     
    WoW Skins have starter skins on their MM and lucky boards inworld - no need to join group
     
    Besom for hair. Is free group join. Group gift hair and MM and lucky boards
     
    is lots of other hair and skin shops that can get you started as well. So look round and get demos once you decide you like a style and think about spend real money

    for shape then pick a Library shape to get started and mod/tweak it yourself to make your own. Party Girl is a pretty good one to get started with I think for that image
     
    the form when making own avatar is shape follows skin
     
    get a skin and then make/mod a shape that looks best with that skin. Specially the face. When go the other way: shape then skin, it can be quite hard to match. So best to go the other way. Start with skin and mod shape

    for the widest range of mesh clothes to fit your new shape then use the Standard Sizing guide to mod the body shape to a proportion in the guide

  2. is possible for a actual RL bank to open a branch in SL
     
    however the RL bank cant take deposits in L$. SL users are specifically not allowed to "sell" L$ except on the Lindex. Operators are specifically not allowed to "buy" L$ from me
     
    which pose practical problems for me if I was a bank customer
     
    like how do I make a deposit of RL$ into my bank account in SL? How do I withdraw and receive RL$ from my SL bank account in SL?

    which is you came back on here after buying a product and then complained that it may not do what the sales pitch says it can do according to other purchasers reviews of the product

    i dont know why you felt the need to come back on this scripters forums to say that

    this is a scripters forum where people help new people to become scripters, and to help each other become better scripters

    if you got a problem with a script that you are writing then post it ok and you will get help with it 

    we not really interested in problems with products that you might have bought. Take that up with the person you bought it off. If you can find them

  7. whats typically happening is that there are two timers that are not synched with each other, triggering same level animations
     
    your timer in your script. and the timer in the AO
     
    you will most likely find that while your 1.5 sec synch delay will work with some AO script timers from some makers. It wont with others
     
    you get that glitch effect as each timer fires
     
    pretty much the only way round this is to put your timer onto a really fast time. and then create a series of micro-length animations. and timestep thru them really quickly in a sequence. it will still glitch sometimes but not as much

    i never AR them. Sometimes I block them and then sometimes I unblock them bc I am a bit bored with shopping so I turn them on to see what they ranting about now. I never reply to them either. I dont care enough about them to bother reply or even AR. Like I never got any hater blockers on. Just my dont care blockers on

    but thats just me tho. For other people who ask about what they should do then I just say AR, block and done

    some of my stalkers are actual AI bots. Not all of them. Just most of them

    and that a thing as well. Quite often a person who ends up on these AI bot calling lists, can sometimes think that is a real person stalking them in the IM. bc they say quite nasty things quite often do these AI bots. Then if engage with them then they get even nastier

    so suggest to people to think back to  when they first got that random hater IM. Why did they get it? Like it just came out of nowhere for no reason, from some random account that you never met, never knew, never seen, never even heard of before that first random IM in your box

    and if the IM hater gets nastier and is pretty much incoherent, when reply to it then is a AI bot. So dont worry enough about it to care. Just AR, block and be happy

    somebody (who actual has been on this forums before, and keeps getting banned off it over the years) is the owner of them. That somebody has had a big butthurt hater on for LL ever since they got caught in the great land price crash  and end up lost 1000s of RL dollars

    is why I dont care about them. Is one thing to have a hater on for LL and I can understand that. Is another thing tho to turn that hate onto other users who never had nothing to do with the hater losing their heaps of money

    to the somebody who will read this. Young people (teens and 20 somethings) who troll give it (trolling) away after a few years bc they grow up

    only older people will troll for years and years. Not bc they enjoy trolling. They do it bc of the money. The 1000s of dollars of their money that went down the plughole

    with older people is always about the money, when they got their haters on

    more basically: does the UI lead the person to perform and complete the task. like can the user deduce from the UI what it is they are supposed to do

    when get into this then will find that the LL viewer dont do this. Not today anyways. It did actual used to way back in the beginning days. bc all you could do back then pretty much was move (walk/run/fly) and build. Build/mod your avatar. And build/make stuff out of prims
     
    which was all functional stuff to do. So could work it (the UI) out pretty quickly to do that. To build
     
    then as others came who didnt want to build but to socialise then LL start to add functionality into the viewer to do that. But...
     
    they (LL) never done any Cognitive Walkthrough eval on this new capabilities. They just kept adding new functions/capabililties as if these new people were builders. Who even if they didnt want to build, then maybe they should bc that was the whole point. To make content for the world
     
    but anyways and sighs. Heres some social functions bc you guys insist, but we see these functions as a adjunct to the main purpose. Which is to build content for our world. Content is good for you the world users, and good for us the world owners

    they (LL) stopped adding new builder capabilities. But (the more bigger but) they kept adding new functions to the UI as if they were still building a viewer for builders. When they werent
     
    oo end up with this highly technical UI made for builders/technical people, who dont use it for this anymore. A UI that is struggled to be used by socialisers. They struggle bc the UI is not cognitive of social procedures and processes. And never has been

  11. i logged into this RL game once
     
    couldnt find anyone anywhere. just lots and lots of empty spaces. with just bare rocks and some trees and grass. and heaps of water sims. Dunno why it had all them water sims. I never seen anyone on them
     
    i find out later on from this other person who went on there as well. Apparently what avatars are on that RL game are all on this sim called Delaware. Is like about nearly 7 billion of them just stand there in their 1 meter squares and dont do nothing
     
    the person said they tried to get into that Delaware sim. but nah! was full they said. They said was probably a waste of time anyways. They all bots apparently

    for games and CAD and stuff then the link you gave, lists all the algos that are already used in game/cad/art/design softwares

    it also lists some algos which arent used all that much bc they dont serve any use other than academic. meaning is not much practical use for some of them

  13. we do want to chat to a avatar on our parcel. Whether there is a avatar on the next parcel or not. So am not sure what is your point about that

    a avatar on the next parcel (our neighbour) will accept hearing the chat message when they can see that there is a avatar on our parcel to who the chat is directed
     
    what the avatar on the next parcel (our neighbour) wont accept is that when our parcel is empty, a chat message is directed at them due to them (the neighbour) being on their own parcel, and not on ours
     
    if we sensor then when the sensor picks them up on their parcel, we have to filter them out so we dont direct our chat at them [when there is no one on our parcel]
     
    if we use agentlist on parcel then we will never direct a chat at them. When our agentlist on parcel is empty then no chat. Not ever. No filtering needed either. No matter how many avatars are on the neighbours parcels

    for years LL was asked to provide a reliable no-miss alternative to sensor. for years and years. And eventual they did: llGetAgentList. Is reliable and it dont miss

    there are 1000s and 1000s people in SL every day who are not wallow in filthy or doing the pr0n

  15. with sensor the best we can do on a standard 512m (16m x 32m) without going over the boundary is 8m. When do this then we cover less than half our parcel
     
    to cover our whole 512m at ground level then put sensor on ground at centre of parcel and set sensor range to: 17.93m
     
    17.93m is the length of the diagonal from the centre of parcel to the top corner of the cube (8m * 16m * 1.2m). 1.2m is a bit over half the max. agent bounding box. So to cap any agents on the ground, on the parcel . If we just set to the diagonal of the plane then the sensor will miss the agent in the corner
     
    bc our sensor range is over the boundaries on all 4 sides and also a bit over the diagonal parcels as well, then filter out any agents not on the parcel, and stop when find the first on parcel
