  1. Thank you for your help and for sharing the info about the Land, i ll keep it in mind! I got to discuss all this with Co owner. Thanks!
  2. Thank you For detailing, LittleMe, it is a bit tricky but i am getting to it!
  3. Hello Katherine, thank you for your answer, alright so from this point none of us got to pay a Tier Fee and we are able to use 4505 without tiers Fee, correct? Let say i want us to own through the group an extra amount of land to be comfortable with prims and also pay a Tier Fee of 31$ per month no more, i shall then buy in the name of the group an extra 8,192 Sq.Meters parcel? or the 10% is going to come in the middle and mess with the Tier Fee? Thanks for your answer.
  4. hmm alright, sorry to actually sound like a beginner, since i am with land ownership, but to make it short, what matter is your tier usage is calculated depending on the lands your bought around, as soon as you go over 2048 Sq.meters you start to be charged, wherever you are deeding to a group your lands or not, what matters is what you own as individual. Correct? So if my friend add to the group her 2048 and do not buy any other lands around, she will not get any Tier Fees, but will be able for example to benefit of the whole group Sq.Meters without any extra tier fee since as individual she owns only 2048. Correct? Thank you for your time & help.
  5. Hmmm alright, Thank you Teresa for your answer, but i am still a bit confused. So basically, If we both give to group our Tier Allowance, will we get a extra Tier fee? i don't understand when you are saying "SL won't let you donate more then you are allowed. Thank you
  6. Hello, I am not sure this topic has been already discussed but here is my question: A friend & I are both Premium plus. We would like to "Merge" our 2048 Sq.Meters in a common group. But the thing i would like to know is if Linden Lab will consider those 4192 Sq.Meters as group merged land without Tier Fees or will LL consider the group owner to own 2048 Sq.Meters with an additional Tier Fee of 2048 Sq.Meters, even if this is coming from another Premium account? Thank you for your Help and Answer. Regards, Dodge.

  9. Yes, that's what i did, just was hoping i could add a lil personal autumn touch to the ground...
  10. Hello, Probably that question has been asked already but didn't found yet the answer. Can you change the ground texture of a mainland parcel? I found the path to reach the texturing part but apparently it doesn't let me upload texture. Is this because it is mainland and you can't change the ground texture? Just need confirmation if anyone knows. Thank you. Dodge.
  11. Recently invested into some parcels and sharing the decoration fun with my Partner. Enjoying it to the fullest.
  12. Decorating the place if you want to have a walk around for the pleasure of exploring the mainland.

I will follow your advice in hope that it won't be seen negatively if i am asking about how to do to someone that the business it to do it....
  16. thank you for giving your vision of renting a parcel, i guess it is changing from one person to another and it is interesting to read your way of seeing the things. As for the community forum, i am digging through it, there is quite a bit to read and i would have hoped someone would direct me straight to some ressources, or advise me about rental systems, which one the most efficient, where to find it, etc.... But thanks for answering to my call.
  17. Well, to be honest, nothing is planned, i took premium for 1st the 2048 free sqm and then maybe to look after lands and learns about landlord, but as of now, i knows nothing about how to build establish a rental system on a parcel, and present if for renting, this is mainly why i posted in here. Thank you for enlighten me about the different options existing and apparently i choose one that is not at my advantage apparently, but well, i guess this is how you learn.
  18. Hello Bigmoe, And thank you for your answer. I Actually read that page already and i believe i am now good for the part of Buying land, the part that is much more confuse to me is the Renting land. But once again, thanks for the ressource. Dodge.
  19. Hello, This is my 1st message to this forum, and first i would like to present myself to the community. I started Second life in 2007 and been around since then most of the time with couple breaks. With my partners we love to decorate, be creative and capture our SL moments. I spent most of my time as a basic account and recently decided to update as a premium plus. So here i come with a few projects in mind, being interested in something totally new to me that is about buying and/or renting. I guess the subject has been raised already many times and that this is just another recurrent topic to add to the long list of this forum. So i ll make it short and straight to the point. How do you rent a parcel? do you need rental system and any recommend in 2022 renting systems? What are the golden rules for renting? About building and renting.... is it better to build and decorate something to start with for the renter and then leave prims left? Or do you leave full prims for the renter to do as he please? Are there website related to Second life to post a rental offer and how do you post it? I am sure i have many more questions, but i believe with the few i left here, there might be already a good chunk of tips & advices & tutorials to share. I thank you in advance for your support and understanding. Regards. Dodge
