  1. Hi, does anyone know where I can get a script that I can put in an item and only allows the person to get/purchase the item it is in if you're within a certain distance? My friend & I are creating a maze and we place an item in the middle of the maze but we don't want anyone to cheat & cam to the item without completing the maze.   2. At least when it comes to needing support. Even with premium the customer service is less than ideal. BTW, when she said "basic membership is not entitled to certain help." She meant any. The email I had receieved basically directed me here.   5. That's the same problem I am having. I can log onto my alt and my friends can log on. I know my avatar is not banned because I haven't done anything to get banned, plus I am able to log on but I freeze and have to quit. I don't get an error message at all. I am still waiting on an answer from LL. I have tried everything I could find. I get a little further now where I actually make it in world, but the moment I open my inventory...Crash! -.- Anyway, if you find a solution that works, please share so I can try it too. lol.   7. How do you know their true ages? Before you report them to Linden Labs ensure you have proof of their ages. Also, the person that is 41, or the one that is 16, in real life, are they aware of the other person's true age? If not, maybe you want to start by alerting them of this information before causing them unnecessary trouble. Allowing them the opportunity to end the liaison, if they continue with the relationship after being apprised of the situation then report them to LL.   8. Hi Dealaa, If you think your password was changed and someone stole your lindens, make sure you change your security questions as well as the password. I know you said you changed the password, but don't forget the security questions because whoever hacked your account and changed your password might have known the answers. As far as checking to see where your lindens went, everyone above basically answered that. Log on to the Second Life website, click on Account on the left side under 'Home' and then Transaction history. Good luck!   9. I had that problem at first until I updated my graphics. I was able to download Second Life and even sort of log on but then I would crash (got the same message you're getting) because my graphic card couldn't handle the server. It was like graphic overload lol. It sounds sillly, but make sure your iMac meets the requirements. We take for granted they would, but even if it was made within this year it may not have the essential requirements to log on to second life because it has a different version or something. Just do a double check. Good Luck!

  11. Hi, thank you. I've tried what you said and still no-go. Not sure why. It just stays stuck on the log on screen. I'm going to submit a ticket hopefully they can solve this issue. Thank you though. I appreciate the advice.
  12. I'm sorry what's the question? If you are having troubles logging on, I think a lot of people are. Just keep trying. Someone told me that Tuesdays was the days Lindens did some kind of update or something to the grid, so there will be a lot of region restarts. Try logging on somewhere else. Hope that helps if that was your question.
  13. I am constantly stuck on the login screen. I have had friends try from my laptop & they have no such issue. They are able to log on just fine. I am able to log on my alt just fine as well. Therefore I know its not my Internet connection or my hardware. It's something about this particular account but I don’t know what. When I finally am able to log on, it's only briefly. The minute I go into my inventory I freeze up and have to force quit. I have reset my avatar to the default female (I have to anyway, because if not I stay an orange poof) thinking that maybe I had too many scripts or prims on. Once I am back to Ruth, I change into the very base model of myself, IE: Undies, skin & hair, nothing else. That would work for a little while. However, if I get too confident thinking that I’m back to ‘normal’ and able to enjoy Second Life once again by attempting to put on clothes, I freeze up. I just tried right now as I type this, and I managed to log into Pooley but before I could switch from orange poof to Ruth, I froze. ARGH! My friends say they can see me come online, though I never see anything past the log in status bar, which gets so close to the end but stays stuck taunting me every time. Next thing they know it shows me going offline. I have tried on other people's laptops and desktops, Mac and Windows, but with this particular account, no luck. I have searched online. Most resolutions speak about "ghosting" but I tried all possible solutions anyway and still can't make it passed the login screen. I receive no error message, I just freeze and it stays on the screen until I force quit. I have tried Firestorm, Phoenix, and Viewer 3. I get further in with Viewer 3, but in the end, I still freeze up when I am in world. I think it has something to do with my inventory, but I don't know what. I thought perhaps I had too much stuff but I have had friends log on just fine from my laptop who have tons more in their inventories. Vice Versa logging onto theirs I freeze when they don't. If anyone, has had this issue or knows someone who has and has been able to solve it, PLEASE HELP!!!! I don’t want to give up on my avatar. She worked just fine when I created her and for months no issues, then one day, after a Firestorm update… issues.
