  1. Of course! LOL! I'll remember that one, for the next time eyebrows don't work.
  2. Tina has a point worth checking out. My comment was just that I have been threatened and maligned in sl occasionally for actions that were not meant to be hurtful but were perceived that way. And some people react by lashing out with blind vindictive rage making all sorts of libelous accusations. If you get nothing out of LL, and I've heard they are never much help in personal feuds, you might just put a disclaimer in your profile that any persons commiting libel and/or slander against yourself or your loved ones is opening themselves up to a law suit in rl and that you will vigorously persue legal action in rl if necessary to stop said public slander. That these people know who they are and have been given fair warning before you take legal steps. Furthermore, if you know this person's whereabouts, you can have a letter drafted by an attorney sent to them threatening real legal action that could scare the pants off them enough to stop their nonsense. It won't cost you a huge amount and might be worth the satisfaction. When it comes to LL, I don't count all that much on any intervention on their part unless you make it a legal issue with them.
  3. I get that pulsing pink cloud (I use phoenix/firestorm) everytime I've had a major crash. It's just your unrezzed avatar. I finally figured out I can restore my whole avi back to normal by replacing my eyebrow body part (who knew?). As soon as I find it (with the skin I've been using) or replace it with a substitute one, my whole avatar rezzes back to the form I had it in. Now if you have already ruthed yourself (put yourself back into your original standard issue avi form) you will probably have to reconstruct your avatar as you had it prior to adding the demo skins etc. This will take some work, but I've had to do this before I figured out the simple eyebrow solution, and as a precaution I've put all my necessary body parts into a separate folder labelled with my avi name so that I can just click "wear" the folder and I'm instantly restored. Good luck on resolving your problem.
  4. P.S. If you do check out the NOON male avatars, take a close look at the BJORN avatar, if you want a blonde av. He's really really attractive. Take if from me. I'm female in real life and I would know *wink wink*
  5. I've made male and female avs, even tho I'm female, cause I just love making avs. What I usually do is start with a good complete avatar. Usually what you wind up with is the body and a notecard that comes with it that tells you exactly where to get the right skin and hair and exactly which skin and hair to buy to get the exact avatar look you have bought. I try to buy the ones you can modify because you can change some of the features on those if you want. If it's non modify you are stuck with it the way it is. I find the best ones without shopping all over second life on the marketplace (just click on the "shopping" option above and click on "marketplace" and you're there. Then go to the category on the left "avatar appearance" and from there select "complete avatars". Now you can choose the human male category and you'll find pages and pages of choices). My personal preference are the avatars from NOON. Put that name in the little search field and their avs will come up. They are pricey and so are the recommended skins you have to buy after you get the body. The body gives you the facial features you need to go with the skin for the right overall look. And frankly you get what you pay for. You can get cheaper ones made by other creators and they're not bad, but you won't get the muscle definition or six pack look. It will look more flat like skin colored latex. Once you've got the body, you can make it more slender if you prefer or shorter or taller, but don't make the mistake of turning it into a hercules. Newbies always do that and the incredible hulk look is a dead giveaway that you are a clueless newb. So that's my advice. There is a service called "pimp my avie". That's the only one I know of. I've seen some avies of theirs and they're good. You can find them if you do a general search in the search function. They are probably pricey too. As much as the prefab complete avs I mentioned above or more, so your choice. Good luck.
