  2. So...I can't animate the propellers? I guess I can bind the entire hoverbike to the character hip and animate the character, the hoverbike will follow accordingly but the propellers will be unable to move. ABSOLUTELY no way to animate the propellers at all?
  3. I made a custom Hoverbike with it's own custom animations, it seems the animations need to be in BVH format but said format is for humanoids. So I'm not sure how to export and then import the animation files into Second life. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you, I had that official viewer installed the whole time but for some reason the grid selection was disabled on my login screen, the description of the choices you gave me send me to check the menus available and found the check box for grid selection under /me/preferences. Once again thank you very much.
  9. For the love of god how do I access (or launch) the test grid??? I've look everywhere and all I get is some like this "the name is Adity", "is for testing purposes", "you'll save lindens", etc..... but can't find the really important info "HOW TO ACCESS THE TEST GRID" I read somewhere that pressing and holding Ctrl+shift+G while logging in will enable the option to acces the test grid but NO it does not ( atlest I did nothing on my viewer). So anyone can share this info I can't afford any longer to keep paying to test each modification I do to my models and rigs. THANK YOU ALL.

Does anyone know what happend when I make a transfer (actually 2) I was expecting the money to be in my paypal today aproximately but my paypal account have been blocked for non Second life related reasons, now is the money going to be send back to my Second life account when there is no paypal to transfer or it might get lost "forever" in the wonderfull banking system?
  13. well it was the smoothing group stoping the import of the file into SL, a small change into a single smoothing group did the trick (took away some of the shapes of the model but is not that bad) will have to do a small research about how SL manage smoothing groups or if that is supported at all!?
  14. MAN you have to be kidding me! that's not a clue.......that's exactly the problem!!! (I mean the smoothing groups) thanks a lot! problem solved!

I'm using the exporter that comes with maya 2013, I was going to try downloading another pluging/ exporter HOWEVER I exported other things to be 100% sure and those are working fine in Second life........there have to be something in the file wich makes the error pops up, I repeat myself but feel I have to " the file works 100% perfect in any other program". Zbrush, maya, marmoset, UDK, Xnormals, topogun, motion builder. Whatever is the problem only seems to affect second life, thanks again to everyone and I hope you keep pointing me to any ideas you have on this issue.

  18. no spaces on the material name....this is so frustating.....is like my model is corrupted...but I imported into several other programs including UDK engine, marmoset toolbag, Xnormals, etc and is working OK in all of them the problem is only in Second life.......HEEEEEEEEEELP!!!!!!!!
  19. OHYES gaia clary!!! is the material!.....I deleted the skeleton and deleted all history and exported only the model and the error is still there......so is not the rig is the material but how do I fix this!!!?????:matte-motes-crying:

Is there a naming converion for materials on SL? if yes where can I take a look at such thing? and where can I "publish" the .DAE so you can take a look at it? or if you want I can mail it to you, I'm breaking my head with this problem....I even took a good file and check all the "non DAG" objects in the outliner one by one and the only missing thing in my file is a "brush" the other file have.......but now I'm just trowing blind punches at this problem....
