    It's the same problem here since 2 months when I installed windows 8 to my laptop. I tried all the posted suggestions and no use. Well, I prefer to have windows 8 on my laptop more than to have any of un-working viewer. So I am taking a break from Second Life till they solve their problems with Windows 8.
