Take ALL the advice given about manipulating with expressions and maybe even lip colorings (your second photo definately looks like will need lip coloring, tho not so much the third photo)
ALWAYS try out demos first. The photo and the reality shading are not always what you thought!
And ALWAYS go to the inworld store- Given makers do not always put "everything" they make on the mp. You may find alternatives there as well as individual skins sold as opposed to "packs".
Read the whole para on the MP. Just cuz you don't want mustache and stuff on what you're making and the pic there shows one often the maker will tell you "the package includes a shaved version" or something.
The way a skin is drawn DOES matter when trying to definately make the ethnic look, but it is only 50%. The rest is face shape and you may want to mess with shape sliders so even when buying a shape that has facial features you like choose modifyable.
