Wearing multiple layers of different tattoos. Wuth the "add" function in common use grid wide, its is possible to attach multiple items to one attachment point. This ability works with Tattoo layers as well. However, on occasson it will cause you to appear as the ball of smoke and nothing will clear it, not even trying to force load a default avatar. I use the latest version of Firestorme so I don't know if phoenix produces this random corruption. I found that the only way to resilve the issue is to locate the offending tattoo later and remove it. I discovered that it was the tattoo layer after removing one item at a time. The moment I took off a 2nd tattoo layer the smoke cleared and I rezzed. Now the odd thing was, this fault prevented the default avi to load which in itself would have removed the offending layer. So another thing to look at when all else fails.
