So... I need to transfer the top part of one object onto another object because the bottom part of object 1 is all outta whack and i only need the top part >_< How do I transfer just the top weights?

When I try to change my item it doesn't work. The list is empty. I have tried to click sync with magic boxes but it didn't do anything. What is a magic box anyways? Do I need one? how can i switch out the objects?

So in marvelous designer how do you make symmetrical clothing? I can't find anywhere on the internet that says how >_< So someone who uses marvelous designer can you help?

Also where did you come from? Seems like what you came here for was drama. You didn't try to answer my question AT ALL but instead you came in to say that this post is a marketing scheme? and then say you're going to make sure you don't shop at my store. I do agree that it would be unfriendly, but some people in this post think that's all I do. When in fact that's not true! I say hello first and ask them how was there day I also ask if I can ask them a question before I do ask my "what do you think of my outfit" question. If they say yes I can ask them a question. Doesn't that mean they gave me some of their time for me to ask my question and for them to answer? Yeah I know not everyone is trying to make me look like some terrible villain, and I thank the people who really answered my question and tried to help me out.

Ugh... Ok Well sorry for ever even making this forum post. I just wanted to know if the girl was right about me getting banned because I was scared. Me asking "what do you think about my outfit" is only part of the conversation. I usually start with "hello! How're you doing?! " With a big smile, if people think that's unfriendly or not friendly than i don't know what you think friendly is then. I don't go up and just randomly ask "what do you think of my outfit" I ask them first if I can ask them a question. If they're busy they'll say no but if not they'll say yes and I'll ask cuz they've given me their time. Please do not say I'm not friendly or haven't been doing it in a friendly manner because I really am friendly. I made this post because someone told me I can get banned from it and that's all I really wanted to know. No need to say i'm not friendly or haven't been doing it in a friendly manner as if you have a camera on me or something and know what I do.

EXACTLY MY POINT! I'm not FORCING them to do anything it's not like i'm sending them messages and the LM over and over and over again telling them to go to my store! I just ask them politely and if they say yes then i'll send them an LM and if they choose not to go than ok! I don't care! It's not like i'm FORCING anyone to do anything! Just because I like to be out and about speaking to strangers asking them questions and also I made some new friends that way also FYI! doesn't mean it's a bad thing. Just because i'm not antisocial like everyone else on second life does that make me bad person who should be banned from sl for just trying to speak to people? It's not like i'm harrassing anybody and some creators I've met actually gave me their LM also so it's like a trading thing.

I totally agree with you everyone on sl are so uptight and so antisocial!!! When I walk into a place I want to see everyone speaking to each other as if it was real life not quiet because everyone is in private message. It just looks like a place full of parked avatars and in fact very boring. I think some people need to loosen up and not take everything so seriously. Also by invading their "privacy" its not like i'm bumping into them or anything I just asked them a simple question. I don't see what the big deal is. If you don't wanna go then don't go? No need to make such a big deal out of something. Like seriously just loosen up.

So I was going around asking people what they thought about my outfit, and if they said it was very beautiful i'd tell them to check out my store and give them the LM and they would say "thank you! :D" but this one chick got really butthurt and said that it wasn't allowed and that i can get banned for asking people about my outfit and giving them the LM of where to get it ;o is that true? if it is... then that's weird... She said it was spamming but its not really spamming cuz I only send the LM's to the people once and they had NO problem with it what so ever.

Hi... I have been working on this dress for about 3 weeks now... and I really can't get the weight paint on it right... if someone would be kind enough as to give me their weight paints for a long skirt or dress i will love you forever... If someone please, could you make a default skirt or dress and put your weight paints on there so that the skirt and dress will move smoothly, and send it to me so i can transfer the weights from your default dress/skirt to my 3 week headache drss :( Please i'm begging someone please help me out :'( I'm desperate! I've been working on this for 3 weeks i've tried and tried i just can't weight paints long skirts or dresses. So please... someone... be kind enough to send me their weight paints for a long skirt or dress :(

All you have to do is weight paint my skirt for me cuz i've been at this for 2 weeks and still can't get it. it looks weird, the top moves with my body, the bottom stretches weird. I keep reading on peoples posts that they're using an SL Skirt to transfer weights onto their skirts and it works. Where can I find this already weighted SL skirt to transfer weights onto my skirt? I've been trying to weight paint my skirt all day and it just looks weird... So if there is an already weighted SL skirt out there? could you link me?

Yes they are the EXACT same dresses but they just have different weights on them.

Ok So i have a question... is it possible to transfer only part of the weights of one object onto another? For example on dress1 I only want the top half of the dress (torso) to be transfered onto dress2? because I like the bottom half of dress2 and I want the weights of dress1 to be on dress2 because the top half of dress2 looks deformed and weird. So is this possible to transfer weights to only sections of the object? thank you!

When I upload my dress and wear it, it looks deformed at the top like very sharp. How can I fix this?

Also how come when I try to upload it into SL, when I wear it the top looks ragged and sharp? but when I drop it on the floor it looks fine. Like this.

I rig by selecting my avatar and my armatrue and push "ctrl P" and i select set parent to armature deform with automatic weights and this happens after. My arms and legs parts from my body. I will attatch a photo. When I try to rig my clothing it the back and front splits from each other also. Please help! I have been trying to rig for 2 weeks and haven't been successful, youtube videos haven't been helping either so please don't bother replying if you're just going to tell me to go on youtube.
