I have streamed in music from the land settings, but find that some viewers have issues with that (music can't be heard). Am looking into shoutcast or something similar myself. Also, had a DJ in trying out the other night...if we moved too far from the DJ stand...the music faded, what caused this and how can we make sure that it can be heard throughout the entire club? Thanks!

Well hey there! Appears we are in the same boat..lol. I as well am new to SL and reside in the southeast. Started playing at the reqeust of a real life friend that moved across country. Great way to keep in touch! Anyway, the imagination and vastness of SL amazes me, it can suck you in and before you know it you have spent a couple of hours in front of your computer screen just wandering around. Have fun!

A Sploder that gives the option of contributing or not contributing, counts down randomly and then "explodes" distributing the lindens randomly is not gambling. It is basically giving away the lindens, with no skill required, no entry fee necessary and no set rules or regulations on how the lindens are distributed (sort of like a Pinata). While it may be considered a game of chance, it does not require any entry fee or contribution unless you choose to. No one is excluded as long as they are within the range of the event. At least thats my take on it
