Hello all! I am looking for a certain style of dress for a clown costume idea I have. It would preferably be strapless with a ruffle bottom, texture white with larger polka dots of different colours including red, yellow, blue, to fit Maitreya lara body. The lower the cost the better, lol. I have tried to search MP but if anyone has seen something similar that includes a texture like that in the hud please comment. Thank you!

Someone posted this pic in a group which she got from a tattoo store. She said she had messaged the store owner about them but it had been a few days with no response. I really like these shorts also. If anyone recognizes that particular camo texture or the belt then perhaps it will lead to the store owner of these shorts!! I have done some searching on MP using various search terms, but to no avail. Any help will be much appreciated, tysm all!!!

I am co-owner of a club and had heard that DJs should not play any music by Nickleback or Prince because it isn't allowed by linden labs. Then heard it is ok for a DJ to play Nickleback but it still isn't ok for a DJ to play anything by Prince. Recently one of our DJs said they were told by linden labs that they can play music by Prince. Has anyone ever heard whether or not it was ever an issue to play music by either one and if so, is it ok to now?

How come on MP even though I check the box "Do not show demo items" it still does??? Find that very annoying

I don't understand why there are some merchants that charge for demos? I myself would never pay lindens (even if it is only $1L) since if I need to try multiple demos, that could really add up. I think merchants are losing possible customers by not offering free demos. Even worse is when there is something I'm thinking of trying and even go to the store in world just to find they don't even have a demo.

Yesterday and today I am unable to rez at this sandbox (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Bjorn/53/240/21). I hope they fix it soon.

I would also like to be able to join more groups. If they did increase how many we could join it wouldn't mean that you have to join more groups, but I think it would be great to have the option if we so choose. I do quite a bit of shopping, going to clubs, and have friends with their own place and so need to be part of various groups. I recently went to join a store group and was told I was at my limit. I went into my groups and left one, then later realized I shouldn't have left that one and ended up rejoining it (after leaving a different group). The shopping groups allow you to get notices about specials, slapping MM boards, getting discounts, etc. The club groups allow you to be notified about their events and to join their contests. Lastly and obviously, the ones that your friends have for their place allows you to visit them without getting kicked out, lol. It amazes me how quickly and easily you reach the limit of 42, so if LL could change the limit or perhaps the sub-group as others have suggested, I think it would be great! :matte-motes-smile:

I have some clothing items from freebie stores that for some reason are in the shape category. I need to be able to change them to the correct category so that I can wear them. I use Firestorm and I hope there is a way to fix this. Thank you in advance for any help/advice offered :) Note (added April 17th): I did try double clicking the item but it does not appear and if I log out and then back in, I am a white egg because I'm not wearing a shape. At least I know that to fix that all I need to do is go into my inventory and double click my shape, lol!

Peggy, I actually didn't know what the prices where for both (I had only seen a minimum price of about $L500 per week for land), ty! You mentioned 'prims' and I've seen that term and I'm not really sure what it means. Wondering if one item would be considered one prim, or if it depends on the size of the item, and what kind of items count towards it, etc.? Would it be just items that are out of inventory and placed on/in the land/skybox?

I am just wondering what is the least expensive way to have your own place? Is it cheaper to rent a sky box (I know someone that rents one, never asked what the rent was, lol) or would it cost less to rent land (I have a house that cost L$0 from a freebie store)? I figure with the land option it would need to be big enough to fit the house, so I would need to figure out it's size... I've seen many terms used when it comes to land and not quite sure what they mean or refer to: sim, tier, parcel, region

I want to leave a group using V3 and so far I have found the following which doesn't quite work for me: -> To leave a group: Select Edit > Groupsfrom the menus at the top of the Second Life window.Click on the name of the group you wish to leave.Click Leave.-> Pull up your list of groups, click on the one you want to leave and to the right there should be a "leave group" option -- at least that is how it is in the 1.23 viewer. (LittleMe Jewell answered with this September 2010) For the first one, I wasn't able to find 'Edit> Groups' in the menus at the top. For the second one, I didn't see the option "leave group" anywhere. Any help with this matter is greatly appreciated! :)
