  1. Tree houses in a Jungle environment !
  2. This is saddening. Especially considering the long history of DRD making SL a cooler place since forever ! But this issue has also given us the opportunity to discuss the lack of special amenities available for creators who have established business on sl. I sincerely hope LL would find a way to establish business accounts or at least give special status to such accounts who do considerable business on sl. Being able to share accounts would be a great feature to start with. Maybe this could be asked as a proper feature on the Second Life Feedback ?
  3. Forget Avastar, most people on SL don't even know how to make mesh. People have to either find their way through tons of youtube resources - give up a few ten times - then maybe get lucky or go through rare few available free blender classes on SL that run at a snail's pace - give up a few times and then get lucky to somehow stick to blender. Sure, prim building is an art in it's own. It's a heritage that SHOULD be preserved. But creatives like to be celebrated and feel the accomplishment of earning from their creations. In 2021, who would buy a prim made sofa set ? There is not a single comprehensive educational data base regarding how to make mesh. People have to sift through hundreds of youtube tutorials that don't even focus on efficient meshes which work well for game engines and are suitable for SL. Heck, I still see so many creators - who already know how to make mesh - simply turning their LODs to zero to make "low Li" stuff made with hulk proportions of polygons. There's barely a couple or so tutorials on how to make good LODs. If regular day-to-day users on SL can't even make mesh, how are they supposed to keep being creative ? Today's mesh market is a domain of a very select few people , elite even, who have either have somehow managed to learn to make mesh stumbling through the dark or are privileged enough to have had some systematic education and actual experience with 3D. One of the prime reasons SL developed such creative communities in the past which sustained SL for so long was the fact that everybody could create ! Good or bad, you could put two prims together to make something out of nothing. Right now a majority of SL users have be relegated to only remain as consumers and this in my personal opinion could very well become Achilles' heel. These consumers would at one point get fed up and just find a "newer" and more "fun" avenue of consumerism (ding dong ding : Facebook !). LL needs to at least put some effort. They don't have a Lumi or an Avi to create an Ivory tower of Mesh for them. Not yet.
