Hello, I recently began playing again but I've been having the same issue that I had the last time that I played. Whenever I have voice chat enabled, my network "crashes," or just loses connection (Not sure what you would call it here) and takes about a minute to restart. The Second Life client then continues in a loop of trying to start voice but once again loses connection, time after time, until I disable voice again. Now, when I have voice disabled, the game runs just fine and I don't have this problem which is why I'm quite sure that the problem is the voice feature itself. I've spent hours researching and trying to figure out what is causing this but have had no success whatsoever. I've made the necessary changes to my firewall (I use Norton Internet Security, and have even tried disabling the Firewall itself) and tested multiple viewers but still nothing has worked so far. As for my bandwidth (According to http://www.bandwidthplace.com/) I get 8.48mbps download and 3.02mbps upload while Second Life isn't running, and about about half that when it is running, so I'm fairly certain that bandwidth isn't the issue (Although I may be wrong since I'm not all too educated on this subject.) Oh, and I'm using a wired Charter Internet connection on a Windows 7, 64 bit system, with my modem being a Netgear CGD24G. I haven't seen anybody else with this exact issue, does anybody have any ideas on what my problem is? Thanks in advance. (I would provide a copy of my Secondlife.log file incase it would help but I can't seem to figure out how to attach it here) Thanks for the response, but I'm still not quite convinced that it's my bandwidth. According to http://speedtest.net/ I'm getting a download speed of 18.23mbps, which is almost twice the global average. Media streams fine and my net still runs pretty quickly even with Second Life open, and even reducing the amount of Bandwidth that Second Life can use didn't solve my problem.. My net still disconnects for about a minute when voice tries to start. Guess I'll look further into my bandwidth and keep trying though, for now.
