Is it because she has an older version...? Help. Please. My friend is a total newb. Like...just rezzed onto the grid kind of newb. She doesn't know how to get to the settings, so I don't think that's the problem. Also, she keeps getting error messages when she tries to download the newest version. Why is that happening? I tried to link her to both the official second life viewer and the phoenix viewer and neither of them worked for her. She got some popup error message and couldn't install it. (She was able to download the setup thing from the internet, just not finish it once she got that.)

Question: Are there any high fashion stores around? I've noticed some, but they only had women's clothing.

So basically, I was in a shop. And I decided to buy something in the store. This is in-world, mind you. And I purchase the item, using the buy button, and it sends me a message saying "You have paid $0L for this product." Everything is going normal, but then I never get the item. It doesn't show up. There's no box that shows up and tells me to keep or discard...it's just nothing. I've tried multiple $0L items and none of them are showing up. It's not just one shop, either. So, what's up? What do I have to do? It's not the marketplace, because I tried to buy something there and that's working fine. I should note, these are NOT in my inventory. That is the problem. The first thing I did was check my objects folder and there's nothing there.

I was just wondering...does anyone have some suggestions on good stores? I really like asian/ulzzang fashion.. Like stuff somebody in a kpop group would wear. But basically anything with a fairly decent quality is good with me. So, does anyone know some fairly affordable stores? :o I'm just looking for tops, bottoms, and shoes, by the way.

Okay, so, on most sites, you can just go to the buying page and then there's an option to pay through paypal. You log in to paypal, they confirm the transaction, the money is taken out of your account, and you've got what you want. Apparently Secondlife isn't like that. What the heck do I have to do to buy Lindens?? I'm getting really frustrated!!! I tried going to the dashboard. I get a message that says: " We are unable to complete your request.Could not charge account.The system encountered an error while processing your order, please try again."There's some thing that says "credit card type" and it's empty and I can't change it. Also, I tried to link my paypal account and that didn't change anything. ._.

Okay, so I am a COMPLETE newbie to Second Life. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. So, I am completely clueless. Please keep that in mind when responding to me. D: Well, I found the marketplace and I noticed all this free stuff. I got some of it and it's in my inventory, but it's in the "Objects" category and it doesn't go on my avatar like it should.
