Hi, no i have left sl1, might look at sl2 when it comes, but i find sl1 only has the mentaly ill left, all the good people have gone.

Ok that is it for the day, i only came here to give support for SL2 and look forward to it, amazed to find so many suffering from guilt, lol, we all get what we deserve, i wont comment again, but i do comment in the daily telegraph were we talk about real issues, i am too long in the tooth to get into any of the convs you have here, but if you want to talk about real world issues then do join us in the daily telegraph, we dont take prisoners and i am one of thier oldest commentors, in fact some post by others are only about what i say, my real life name is john summers and that is the name i post under in the telegraph. so if any of you want a real debate about real things then do join me. goodbye all, i wont see you again well not here.

it is my understanding that she was never banned by the lindens, in fact harry linden logged as her for a few days and the word was that she was banned from the forum for her own protection, look this was a few years ago, but i know when harry linden was her that the owner of the athens sim(dcs) was banned from sl and lost thier sim.

sorry didnt read all of it, my time is short and will have to go soon, i just tried to answer them all and only read the first few lines, maybe i am wrong i just assumed she was the most hated person in the history of sl, nearly every older one in combat knows of her, well most had to ban her, lol.

read all the post, you are making an assumption that it was LL, when it was not, i said in a post before that DCS asked all their users and sim owners to ban her, it was in a group message sent out in the DCS users group, seems none of you read that. now as i was a dcs user i saw the post and it as sent out by DIM himself. the then owner of dcs who was at the same time trying to sue her in the US courts or threatening to. Ps: just for you, dcs could not win by legal means but found another way, now this is the end of the chat of these things, seems most of you feel guilty.

what you saw and have commented on is the detruction of a person that got very angry during that destruction, the competitors in world had every reason to stop her using this forum to promote her system over thiers, pat the company on the back as well as yourself and say a "job well done".

well they could lower the tier, many have said that they want to be creator focused and sales focused and not land focused, what if role play sims are free or public and players just rent time on them, then role play sims need not have malls or be owned by any one, the word "unlock" can have so many meanings.

well i am looking forward to it and hope it starts a whole interest in role play, as to me sl is a good place to have a massive war and then all have a party and dance after, i would like to see the top 3000 meters become space so we can role play real space battles, i would like to see lots of open and public sea so we can sail for hours never seeing the same thing, things you can do in sl but are stale and to small, like the blake sea, great idea but cant be used by more than one group and when the sailors are having a race the rest of us are almost barred from it, pity the cant put a sea say 1000 meters up, then us role players could fight up there while the sailors sail below, or just have a bigger sea, but what ever they do we will all be noobs again and i think lots of us will enjoy that, well i will, remember what fun it was finding new things, problem with being 7 years old is i have seen every thing and now dont go anywhere, dont log much, never commented here before today and wont after today, i just wanted to let the lindens know we are not all anti SL2 and if they address some of the things that upset us in SL1 then it will be even better.

how many of you dress up as wolfs, is that not odd, so ideas must be only for those that claim to be human, i have been to many role play sims and have seen people be all sorts of things, some sims ban them because they look like wolfs, or are vampires in the wrong sim, ok you disagree but i saw how most of you turned them into personal insults, for a short time it looked like fun but was destroying lucinda bit by bit, but DCS wanted that as they saw her as threat to thier business and was using this forum to promote her system, have you any idea what DCS did to her in world with all your support?

go looking for role play sims, some have malls you cant get out of as for stopping people from posting, there was one person that commented in this forum and all asked for them to be banned and that included makers like DCS asking all thier sim owners to ban them because no one liked thier ideas, they were not abusive they just had ideas that many here hated, the lindens have never banned them but the posters here managed to get them banned from this forum, ill say one name and many here can only hold thier head in shame LUCINDA BULLOCH, how evil were all here to her.

yes thank god they have gone but there are still malls that are hard to get out of and when you do, you find a empty sim under them, i came to sl hoping to look for role play sims, in the early days when there were add farms i never had trouble in finding some and had a few years of fun, those that rem those days may remember my name, but after the add farms the malls seem to get bigger and harder to get out of, i also noticed that many sims that claimed to be role play were in fact mall farms and any people in the sims below were traffic bots, so i gave up looking for role play sims, i might add that in them days i had 3 full accounts had 1.5k of land, but gave it all up as there was less and less to do apart from get trapped in malls, so said to myself "that's it not another penny will i spend in sl" and i didnt, i have 10,000's of lindens from my accounts now but wont spend a penny of it, if the malls go and host stop banning and begging then i might tip again or buy something from market place, i refuse to be a cash cow, so wont part with a linden until i am made to feel human again.

then its your opinion on me and as i said i am not interested.

From you i would expect nothing else, i have watched you over the years and you have always had a olive branch in your hand, one of the best assets sl have and a perfect person to meet anyone new, but you are unique arnt you marigold, no one else is like you, we need an army of people like you then all would be great, but we dont, only you and very few others. please dont think any of this relates to you, even though i have watched you all for years this is the first time i have spoken and only spoke because some here were confused as to what is happening, so i thought i better add my pennies worth.

please give me time to read it marigold, you are one of the long timers who would be welcomed in sl2 i am sure, when i have read it i will replay again, i think you have always been an asset to sl so please dont think i talk of you.

i think you will find that all sales will go though market place, this allows the linden to free land up for "experences", i have seen all his interviews and am sure this is what he intends, also he may expand the department that deals with banning from sl, as once he changes the definision of land so he can rightly say that only lindens can ban, would need a lawyer to comment on that.

I think the root of it is time served, much the same in the prison system, the way they deal with it is to move the prisoners to a place where they are new and have no position, but the exact same affect will happen with a new sl, all that join will just be a day old, those that have become dependant on their time served position will not move and will riot if attempts are made to make them move, as ebby wont be holding a gun to thier heads then they will stay, then as soon as the new sl is estabilished so he will close down this one leaving them no where to go, as most in the new sl will be 2 years or more old in the new world they wont want to join it, well that is my thoughts on it, as long as he dont close this world too close to the launch of the new one he should stop those arrogant ones from joining the new one, timing is important i think. Have you already seen the worst ones refusing to move, i have, lol. very school yard in some places. I might add if there are no malls or shops and no banning many of the arrogant ones will lose the tools they have.

why didnt they remove the copyright notices inside the code, cos all the modules i have got have linden labs copyright notices inside them, so how is it that writting it themselfs, looks to me like they copied it but i could be wrong, i write code and always put my name inside it even though no one can see it unless dissasembled, i have looked in side the modules of OS they all have linden labs copyright written inside them. in fact i think OS sims is a branch of linden labs.

For 7 years i have been here and have seen many things, for a lot of that time i tried to see what makes people leave so have made a list, not in any order but the things i think ebby will address for sl2. 1. banning that has to be the biggest turn off and mostly done by people with low self asteem that get a tag and the power to ban, the best one i heard was from a blues club, reason for banning - "to old and making young people leave" the person admitted to being over 60, the host immed them and said they were banning them for saying that. 2. being forced to walk through malls then to find out you cant get to the sim unless you wear a role play hud or be a member of a group, when you do get a hud and join the group you find out the sim is empty of role play players. 3. road side adds, well that was more a problem of the past but add farmers drove people nuts. 4. greifers. griefing these days is done covertly, one of the worst i saw was in fact a helper from this forum, they get anyone they dont like banned, if they cant wind them up with chat they get freinds to publicly doubt thier gender and thier motives for being in sl. 5. arrogance. a lot of people that have been in sl a long time and are so arrogant that should a first day person meet them they wont ever return. 6. freedom of speech, many clubs ban people for talking about the wrong thing, this forum does the same, think this one is linked to 5 as long timers do see themselves as the police force of sl. there are many more but these are things ebby can address in this new sl and taking shops and malls out of sl will help with many role play sims, also ebby might make it so only lindens can ban, which means host will have to report and not have a ban button to press, as for 5 and 6, well the old arrogant ones wont move to the new sl as they will have to start at the bottom like a noob and dont know how to any more.

i have my own sims on my own server, i use the latest version of OS sims but they are not as good as linden sims, for a start planes dont work very well in os sims and i have yet to get one to pass a sim boundery, now ebby did say that the new sl will not be open source, so i imagine that os sims will stand still now as they only use the tech the linden discard, so i dont think new worlds will come about to compete with them or they would have already, i have tried 2 new worlds, known both the owners of these new worlds and there are many things that dont work in these world and will never work as the tech to do certian things dont exist in these worlds and wont once this new second life appears. I also think that creators might have to gain a licence to create in this new world, i think maybe the option to just set up your own server in world will be ended so making sure the lindens get a cut of every transaction, with script you have the freedom to do this, but there wont be script in this new world, i think you just have to look at the modern mentality of investor driven corpoprations to see where this is going, all bussiness are about keeping investors on beaches and keeping them in the life style of gods, customers are just cattle they milk. In other words they may not be any inworld shops in the new second life, all things will be sold through market place and if no shops what does that mean for land, with no shops or malls?
