  1. It might i have no clue about scripts lol is there anything i need to enter specifically for this to work? Also i have mesh lashes that need to coinside with the blinking
  2. Hii everyone! Im looking for a script that will allow my mesh head to blink. I've made 4 frames/models for the blink and now i just need to animate it. I would like it to blink every 30 seconds-1min. Does anyone have a script like this i could buy or they could make for me? Thank you in advance!
  3. Hi Im having an issue with my Mesh Head and matching it to the SL Avatars neck seamlessly. The texturing is fine however the head only looks the way it should in a full bright ambient lighting. It is called welding boundary normals, however im not skilled in blender at all and even the controls bother me. So im asking is there a way to fix this using Maya? I had a chat with support and they verified that i am indeed the Estate Owner HOWEVER the man i was renting through is the ALT Payor/Region Owner and thats who they bill, so i should continue to pay him as we much have some kind of agreement. I just find it strange he hasnt contacted me but i will have to contact him now to get this taken care of.
  5. Hi thank you for responding! The sim name is Eila and it says in both about land and region/estate that i am the Estate Owner. My name is the only one in Estate Managers as well. When i go to Secondlife.com and Land Manager it lists the Estate name "TickTack" and sim name EIla as well, along with a Billing date for August 19th, 2013. There is also a monthly billing amount listed, but i have never paid this to LL, only to the man who changed my name over to Estate Owner. He switched it about 4 months ago is it possible he could have been paying this balance for me the entire time if i am indeed the Estate Owner?
  6. Hello, I have been renting a full 15k prim sim for a little over a year now and im confused as to who i should pay rent to at this point. For the first 6 - 8 months i was paying rent to a real estate business located in sl which owns a bunch of land. However i then got a message from someone claiming to be the estate owner saying the rent had not been paid for over 6 months. I checked in with one of the managers and she let me know he was in deed the land estate owner, and she wasn't aware her boss wasnt paying the sim rent with the L$ i was giving him. That man later changed my name as the estate owner and gave me a discount as to how much i was to pay him directly for the sim since the company was not paying him the L$ i was giving them for the land rent. I have been renting from him directly for about 4 months now. He doesnt require i pay a box a specific time every month, we barely speak, and he never IMs me about rent being due. Last month i completely forgot to pay land rent because we never speak and i had to write his name down on a notecard to remember who he was. I recently lost that notecard and am going on the 2nd month of not paying sim rent. I tried to go to the land and track his name down on the region/estate tab but his name is no where to be found on the list of estate owners, managers, anything. It's just my name and i have complete control over everything related to the sim. Since he hasn't imed me about last months or this months rent im kind of curious if i should even be paying him rent at all since my name is now in the estate owner slot and his is nowhere to be found? Very confused as to what to do at this point and dont want to loose the land. Thanks!

  8. Thank you very much Chosen for your detailed reply! I had watched a video for weight painting and it explained that i should erase all blue areas for joints that didnt relate to the mesh. In the instance that the eyes and wrist and elbows are having influence on the dress do you suggest i remove the weights for these? They have tiny bits of influence on the dress and i can see them moving the dress slightly. Do you suggest i just add more influence to those areas on joints that are suppose to have it in those spots instead of erasing them? Also for the pelivs, i was told once that i should paint the entire item due to when avatars sit down and do other extreme animations, is this true? I think the worst areas for me are the pelvis, chest, torso and hips due to i have no general idea how to paint the weights lol Also because im using the color ramp its a bit confusing.

Hii, so i made this dress its been unwrapped, topology looks ok to me, but im having some issues with the weight painting. image of the dress - http://gyazo.com/04f437e498ef0c0fd453a178611cf4be For some reason when i go to paint weights i cant erase the blue bits 100% it will erase bits and pieces and it takes forever, so i have to end up going with a huge brush and erase it all at once. erase issue - http://gyazo.com/d67e1a25299c9f334a8a5692119e5853 Along with the erasing issues when i believe to have painted an area correctly i get weird results like below http://gyazo.com/112096bafa01c5f7b050505287fbba8e http://gyazo.com/b2dc70ac8626f067c4dbc3178311d67e Is there a step im missing in order to do this properly? Before the dress was smoothed out and at it's lowest verts possible i used the soft preview button 3 and rigged it as it was and it was moving perfectly. But as soon as i smoothed it out it started having these problems.

  11. I've been struggling with figuring out how to texture my mesh rigged hair. Im using maya 2010. The last hair i made i had a friend help me and she said the only way to texture it would be by unwrapping the hair and putting it on the map like below http://gyazo.com/8685ebde7229d5aa455a978a068c8874.png?1338699475 Problem with this is it lowered the detail of the texture drastically, and there were issues with opac triangles being seen by certain people who wore it. I also couldnt use the textures id been using up to this point including the strand textures. http://gyazo.com/526f1ec0a4e65f7731a05b876e99150a.png?1338699722 Based off how other people are doing it, i've noticed that there is a way to texture hair without doing this, basically its like their texturing it just like they would a sculpt. Their textures dont look less detailed and their strands are exactly the same etc. Sooo, im wondering if anyone here knows how to do this? ** At the moment im creating the hair with NURBS then converting it to polygons.

  13. I just tried a different skeleton to see if it would help and it did a tad bit, its not nearly as deformed as it was before, but there is still some deformation.   14. Hii, thanks so much for responding. I checked my DAE file and it looked like i did have to change the up axis to Z, however it still didnt change anything. Im rather new to rigging so how do i know which bones the hair need to be weighted to, and how do i check to make sure? Thanks!
  15. Hii, Im having troubles getting my rigged mesh hair to upload into second life. Rezzing its stretched, extremely tiny and sometimes has the avatar connected to it. When its worn its completely ruined, its attatched to the head (somewhat) but completely deformed. I have seen a few other threads with people having this problem and have made sure all of those things are done with my file. I tried combining the hair to be one object but it just turns everything to transformed groups if that makes sense and makes a poly surface of it. So i dont have the hair combined to one object right now. Even when i do it doesnt make much of a difference. I have all 26 bones, their named correctly. Smooth Bind has Removed Unused Influences unchecked. The scene is set to the z axis Hoping someone has some idea whats going on with it, im using Maya 2010.
