  1. I own a team called RedLine Racing, and we compete twice a week in the oldest racing organisation in SL, the Digitial World Racing League (DWRL). The team is 5 years old this year, and we have had a lot of success from day one to today. Last season in DWRL, for example, all three of our drivers won championships in different classes. As I write this, we are leading 5 of the 6 series we are competing in. The Springfield sim where we race is open to the public and gets consistent traffic. Races are also uploaded to the DWRL youtube channel. To the point! We are looking for sponsors. In exchange for a monthly sponsorship fee, we will add your logo to our cars. This can vary from primary sponsor to smaller ones based on budget. Changing our cars' entire colour scheme is not an option, however, since we tend to stick to our traditional black and red! If you're interested, send an IM to Mishi Rossini. I'm online often enough that my IMs don't get capped.
  2. My tattoos. I suppose that's a fairly typical one! I've had them for about 4 years now. Even in different roleplay sims with different characters, I find some way of explaining them in my character's background! They're nothing too fancy, a design of gears all along both arms.
  3. I've had a search around and it seems that place has closed. Nothing at the site of the SLURL I found for it. Unless you know otherwise! Either way, thanks for the response.
  4. I've been searching SL for a good club to enjoy proper punk music and good company. The closest I've come so far is places that combine punk and metal... and they always seem to be playing metal! Maybe they include punk in the description for more search hits... Any suggestions appreciated!
  5. Thanks for your help, guys. I guess it's a case of learning a bit more with where to look for the relevant values etc. I'll read up on the wiki and try some trial and error, always a good way to learn, I find! I looked and the script's original creator is someone I used to see quite a lot in SL. I realise it takes nothing to copy and paste to make a script look like your own, but I can ask and see. The car isn't for selling, but for handing to friends so we can race. All the same, I know what you're saying. If I can't be confident enough that the script should be in my hands, I'll find something else. Thanks again for posting!
  6. I've built myself a car to drive around a friend's race track and I'm developing a free script to make it drive how I want it to. Beyond absolute basics like the syntax of a script, I'm a complete noob here. My work on the script is mostly limited to changing numbers to get the desired effect. It's all going very well, but I'm stuck with one issue I can't figure out. The car's turning speed lowers as the car's speed does. This is desirable to a degree but in my case it's far too extreme. At low speeds the car barely turns at all, which isn't very racey! I'm happy with the steering at higher speeds, but of course the overall steering values can be adjusted once this problem is fixed. I'd be very grateful if someone could give me some pointers here! I -do- want the car to turn less at low speeds than it does at high speeds, but I want the effect to be significantly less extreme than it currently is. You'd make me a very happy resident!
