  1. Another thing, which you left out, is the tragic, often bordering on (if not crossing those borders) incompetent customer service LL provides... even to paying members. Fixing this alone would go a long way to restoring people's faith in LL and quelling people's dissatisfaction with SL. I agree completely, I started my SL adventure in 2008 as paying member and at the time it was a great experience to meet a "Linden" online and have them fix your problemsand this gave us a very strong feeling of a VASTE community online. I agree that people come and go and there is a fair amount of new players, unfortunatelly the learning courbe in SL is quite step for those that are not computer nerds and no friendly assistance is showing up anymore for new people. also there is a growing attitude between experienced players to ignore and at time be hostile towards new players called noobs. Obviosly the crisis plays a part in all this, as LL tends to cut out costs, increasing incomes and experienced players to cut their playing time
