  1. Is that for withdrawing USD from your account, or selling L$? The account I'm speaking of is a tier 2 business account - can sell $20,000 USD in 30 days, but still can only withdraw $10,000 per transaction. If that's the limit for withdrawing USD, it makes it even harsher for those of us with lower limits.
  2. I'm not totally sure if this holds true for everyone, or if it's just some accounts, but last I knew, we were limited to $10k USD per transaction, so someone who made $20k in a month would be hit with 2 $15 fees. Still a lower percentage than the 1.5%, of course, but that's $30 to LL instead of $15, and no way around it. (Unless, of course, not all accounts are subject to that somehow.)
  3. Thank you for sharing this - it'll be something to keep an eye on. I usually use Lindex, unless I either have slow sales for a while, slower cashouts than usual, or a financial emergency and need to get what money I have quickly. This policy change couldn't have come at a worse time - I'm going to be late on a couple of bills because I have to wait for a Lindex transaction now that will likely not complete in time - I was counting on being able to cash out quickly via Virwox this weekend in order to make up for a slower than usual couple of weeks! If this other exchange does get their legal registration, it will be good to have something to fall back on, just in case. I'm wondering if, maybe, LL couldn't work out some sort of system where either people who regularly cash out to the same email address are processed faster when sent to that email address, or where you can pay extra to have your transaction flagged as priority by whoever or whatever processes the transactions. With the latter, I'm sure there are people who would pay for every transaction to be prioritized, but there would also be a lot of people who didn't see the need to waste the extra money unless it really is an emergency. And, again, it could be only available to whatever payment method has been established on your account for, say, at least a month, to prevent someone switching to their account and stealing all your L$. Of course, that would make too much sense, and would require LL to actually listen to content creators.
  4. Really, the only people this would hurt are the content creators who rely on both you buying their items, and buying the L$ when they cash out, in order to put food on the table RL. Stop buying L$ and items in-world, and you'll wind up with no more new items to buy - no more new clothes, hair, skins, toys, animations, etc - when we all have to go get real-world jobs to pay the bills!
