I use that setting once I land at an event and get situated in an out-of-the-way spot (and have movelock on so *I* don't get shoved lol). If you turn it on the second you land, does it allow you to drop to the ground immediately? Very cool, if so, and I will have to try that. :)

(If you want to make that setting even more convenient, you can add it as a toolbar button.)

sweet. I like that idea, thanks Sylvia. :)

What you need to do as soon as your feet touch ground is give the landing point squatters a good shove. You'll find that your annoyance magically melts away! ;)

I found a nice remedy to that issue, a nice little setting to FS viewer under world, all the way at the bottom, it says" show friends only" & being I don't exactly have an abundance of them, chances are good when I click that & poof, no more loaded up landing zones...they be gone. As soon as you tp out they come back...unless you set it to not change in the viewer's preference settings. :)

Can you make that a bit darker?

Yeah, darker works....I just found out last night that my phone's camera has night-vision, heard some local nitwits firing off rounds across the river, learned something new about my phone...learn something new everyday, or every night, for that matter. Or maybe I got the wrong kind of "darker" you were suggesting there?.. oops.

  4. Those that stand exactly where the in-world TP are is....pleeease for the love of all things digitally rendered, just move a meter or to to the side. So that way when others TP in they're doing that whole "floating in the air like a Cheerio in milk"...waiting to see when I might land so I can move (cos flying isn't always an option). I do however like the stores that let you LM anyplace, so you don't have to tp in the always filled up landing zone(s). *tips the proverbial hat in much gratitude to those places.*

  5. I'd have to say, that " I feel indifferent about it." The one thing about SL is that you can do &/or be whatever you wish to be or do. When I first came to SL, I rolled around SL as a 1.5 m tall porcupine. Why you might ask?..Because I could & it was fun & different & at that moment I just went with it, much like my username, it kinda stuck, so I kept it. Although it's not overly surprising that most inhabitants of SL are displaying themselves as humans, or some for there of. Most of the starter avatars are human, so it makes sense, so many roam around as such. Maybe in time they'll find who or what they want to be?. Although this is just MY opinion & how I feel about it.

  6. I'm wondering why I cannot do a specific, clickable, html/hypertext-able direct link to a product that I've purchased full perm, so that people can try the demo & would be able to click the link to go to that page, rather than having to copy & paste the link into a new webpage?. I get this not allowed error when I try to update the MP listing....is there no way to add a clickable link? Or am I using the incorrect format? I was trying to use this: (left spaces between " " marks intentionally in here. It would be nice if I can do that, as it stands it only lets me put a copy/pasting link in my MP listing(s).

  7. It's nice seeing that the forum uses a dark theme for the webpage(s) background...it would be nice if the same was implemented for the Marketplace. As an avid user/browsing/shopping & recently a content creator editing & creating/managing listings, it would be awesome if there was an apply-able Dark Theme for the MP. I for one would be grateful, as would my eyeballs. I've tried to utilize the monitor enhancements, however if I am in the middle of creating/designing, reducing the lighting of my hardware would likely hinder the creating I am doing in Photoshop &/or Blender for not seeing the colors, lighting & shading properly at it's best resolution. I'm not even sure if this should go here or not, but I figured I'd ask, & be hopeful to see it in the future. :)
