    I know it is day one and all. A lot of folks are just very "oh well, not a big deal" which kind of filters over to the attitude of some in corporeal life.  I have been firmly in the LL camp on most things recently because of Bellisseria. I didn't even "complain" about the cashing out fee going up. 

     

    BUT --- first they announced to all the citizens that there were new Linden Homes for Premium members. TONS of folks got new accounts to get there new homes (like there were probably a 100 threads started here on "how do I get my new home"). They could NOT get a home because there were none.  And still getting a new home is close to impossible and only for the REALLY inspired folks that choose to use the adventure as a game (and good for them to finding a way to make it work). 

     

    THEN they raise the membership rates (OK, been a long while) and gave folks the option of paying ahead and saving money. . Many people did; one person reported paying ahead for eight accounts -- that's a lot of money.  And then one week after the cutoff date they change the rules.    Some folks will leave because of this. It is an historical certainly. They left because LL cut out gambling. They left when they "took back" the homesteads (I don't think they were called that then). They left (many arty creators in this group) left over the TOS of August. They left or went back to basic when the rates went up this month.  Heck, they abandoned their Linden homes because they couldn't use ban lines!!!!!  

     

    So LL got extra "seed" money from all the new premium accounts. They got extra "seed" money" from the early payment of premium memberships. Neither of which were all that transparent in their scope.   Soooo ---

     

    Right now, I plan to OK the TOS and privacy statements. I read briefly through the TOS and didn't agree with even the beginning so in my HEART I am not agreeing at all. I figure that if I never USE Tilia, it won't matter much (well the privacy thing but since there really is NO privacy in the US any more perhaps the point is moot).  Basically I don't want to lose my account.  I just won't cash out any longer.

     

    My choice. 

    I am heading over to Sansar now to see what is up there. Since I will NOT be OKing any new Tilia for Sansar or logging in again, anyone that wants to see my numerous builds or buy anything I have imported there better hurry on over.  This assuming that the same announcement is happening there. 

     

    If nothing else, everyone here can remember they WERE here when this happened LOL.  I used to say that during very VERY bad times traveling in Mexico. "This will make a good story when it is all over!" 

     

     

    I received an email, but I don't take money out of SL. However, I do spend a lot in world. I don't like having to give them my social security number, and I really don't like it that this announcement happened after I paid a year's premium for my daughter, and myself. I don't know if they have a new guy running things who's trying to make an impression, or if Linden just wants to make people leave. There's a lot I don't like about it now, the new Linden Homes situation being an example, and I can't help wondering what they may throw at us next. I've been isl for 11 years, but most likely, I'll be in the group that leaves. I've heard of Sansar, but I don't know much about it. Is it run by Linden's?

    Interesting I used your auto refresh program did everything for it to detect Bellisseria name 3 times it popped up saying it detected the word yet page never showed the new home stayed on the old home page. One of them I actually said maybe it was in the drop down list low and behold there it was listed normally it would show instead of the old home page so now that is an extra step to try and click before it is gone.

    I saw the same thing, the alarm sounded but it still showed the old homes. I had to click the menu to check and by then, too late!

The page you are showing is the initial set up page, then after you complete that and save it, you go to blue icon button and click it to get the window I just posted and put in the info needed there.

    My original question was to know if the homes were gone, and if there would be more. Patch just said more are coming soon, so I'm happy with that! I'd also like to say, that I'm quite comfortable with my beautiful homestead, but what I like about the new Linden homes is the community feel, with roads and public gathering places. It's the first time I was excited about owning one! The neighborhoods look well laid out and inviting. Very happy there will be more to come!

    Thanks so much for the reply, Patch. Is it going to be a while before new homes are available again? Meaning, I know it's going to take some time, but maybe I should get comfortable staying right where I am at the moment!

    Oh no! I can't believe they went so fast! The older homes seemed to have an endless supply, I guess I thought the new ones would be the same way! I hope more are available soon, too. Do you know of a link to go to, to check on the status of that? I couldn't find anything about them except for the original info.
