  3. I bake it on the T-Pose yes ... i also tried changing the avastar pose . The mesh looks absolutely normal BEFORE rigging in blender here take a look : http://i48.tinypic.com/2la58hc.jpg Then when i rig it becomes an other story heh : http://i47.tinypic.com/24etcg3.jpg Then in secondlife ( im being generous this doesnt look this bad ... but all my models get deformed worse then this ): http://i48.tinypic.com/35mikra.jpg P.s. Its just an example i did not add the solidify modifier yet to it so im not referring to the transparency but to the deformation . I uninstalled avastar 2 times trying to get it to work fine ... no chance ... it rigs my sleeveless tops with ease but my sleeves ones never got 1 to fit right . Also i modified the mesh thinking it was the sleeves maybe they where to close to the sl avatars shoulder edges ... was not it either .
  4. I never have any active modifiers on my meshes i wish it was that simple

Hello i use avastar to rig my meshes in blender but the shoulders and sometimes the back come out deformed once added to the avatar in second life ... i tried changing the pose of the avastar and rigging i also tried modifying the mesh . I see developpers in the marketplace that also use garment maker to make their clothing meshes and the shoulders are perfect ... Is there a trick or a fix for this ?

  9. i would love to make into a mesh but its to high in vertices and faces i did a lot of multires levels
  10. Thank you josh i will give it a try , but i want it exacly as in the picture i'm a little perfectionist and wont sell it unless i get all my angles right . But i have to ask ... do you have an idea why it does that ? i did tops with more details then this one using torus as well and they came out great in second life , why with some of them it doesnt . That is what i find it a little weird . Because i am a little tired of working hours on an item and that i can't be sure anymore of how it will come out .

Hello , so it is not my first time working with torus sculpts in Jass Magic and 1 time on 3 i get this effect , the edges are all "squarish" , this only hapens when i use the torus sculpt ... it works when it feels like it , is it the jass program or something i do rong ? IN BLENDER ( No problem there ) IN SECOND LIFE ( Big problem :P )

Actually we do see the pillows the first one is out of the sheets and the second as only 1/4 covered , and when i remove faces and smooth out the pillow becomes to smooth witch takes off the cloth effect i sculpted on them . Only place i do think theirs to much is on the sides they are all packed in and hard to distinguish .
  13. Got it mark edges , as for the pillow is there a way to select the sides and remove these edges only ? because no matter how much i smooth it out the pillow looks deformed at the end . so i had to add some faces in order for it to look right .
  14. Hello i followed a tutorial to unwrap a bed mesh i made but its quite a mess Preview ( used smart unwrap because the others come out evin weirder ) : Did i miss something or ?
  15. I am still finding my way around blender but i will play around some more with it to learn how to smooth without taking up to much of them , i will try finding these plugins tysm .

  17. That's a very good idea , would be less confusing ... but i do suggest to make a mesh categorie and then make sub categories with the programs names . Not only blender

Hello i was trying to make a good and smooth bed model but when i upload it its very very high in triangles and vertices : 55k and 122k I personally think that's a lot ... but i am still a beginner at 3d modeling . Is there a way to make a smooth looking model without taking up to much of these ? Do these numbers matter ?
  19. Ohh well i tried rigging my skirt mesh and when i upload it to sl , the eyes are atached to the mesh loll .. so i tought i absolutely needed collada 1.4 , now i need to figure out why the eyes atach to the skirt when i rig
  20. Hello well 2.5 i noticed did not have the importer/exporter of collada 1.4 so i googled it and it gave me this page : http://colladablender.illusoft.com/cms/content/blogcategory/25/29/ i downloaded it ( says its a plugin ) and i am not sure how to install it .
  21. Okey so i rigged the skirt and it ataches as a part of the avatar as suposed to , BUT the skirt does not follow my movements its stiff on the pelvis like a sculpted prim , do i need to activate something in blender while rigging it ?

  23. Hello I am now getting the hang of modeling and rigging , but i am not sure how to create a uv map for my meshes ( if i want to sell them with full permissions to creators ) so that they can texture the mesh using it . Is there a tutorial available for blender ?
