There's one more thing you can try, someone else suggested this a while back and it usually works for me. Create a new folder in your inventory. Copy into it some eyes, a skin, hair, shape, eyebrows and an outfit. Once you have these items in, right click the folder and choose "Replace outfit" NOT "Add to". This should bring your avatar back. I hope this helps!

My avatar won't stand but sits. Is there something I've missed in preferences that fixes this?

The Sim is beautiful the hunt, the puzzles they're all amazingly addictive yes, but seeing the same hunters each year as well as the ones just discovering Octoberville, it's a feeling of a family that gets bigger every year.
