Other V1 based viewers may be similar; Firestorm's legacy-profile mode may be similar. There are just too many third-party variations to test them all. That being said, what works is to do the update in the official Linden Labs Viewer. Thereafter you can go back to running whatever viewer you like. Some of the third-party viewers may work also.
