Attention: Account Phishing by eMail

Attention: the following Phishing mail is cycling again.

The origin seems to be a mail account in Kasachstan (.kz). The form results are apparently send to a hacked server in switzerland (.ch)

Please, note, LindenLab will never ask you for your password. Below is a copy of the mail (text only for safety reasons)

Once opened, you will be provided with steps to update your account.
We appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure account safety.

If we detect a sign in with your username from another country we may decide that we want to
confirm that it's really you. You must complete all steps otherwise you will not be able to use
the online service until we have completed additional security checks.

Ah, I was wondering if second life had gotten hit too,  It should be known that there's another one that will claim you have an account somewhere on another site, it claims to be a warining of the person trying to sell your account... it's an utter mess that's from the same emailer.

For more information about potential phishing scams, please visit our wiki and remember:  Linden Lab NEVER asks for your Second Life password, your credit card details, or other personal information via email!
