How do i Change the chat Channel ?

I need to Change the chat channel to rename my baby and add family but i dont know how to change the channel so the object can hear it.

"Open chat" is always channel 0, that's what you normally type on.

An avatar can chat on any positive channel (approx 2 billion) by typing "/<channel>" before the message.  Eg; /21 Hello Channel 21

[Objects can chat on negative channels too (-2 billion to +2 billion), but that's a different subject]

You will need the instructions for your baby in order to know which channel it is expecting the commands on and how they must be formatted.  If, for instance, it says something like "use channel 13" you would type /13 before each command
