why I am unable to set/re-set titlers or comp board at work,When I type i.e / numbers nothing happen

HI i work in a club in SL when I type / then numbers in nearby chat unable to reset board,also I have got some Titlers and have same problem,also is it poss to turn nearby chat off in v3 without logging out, makes it impossible top work with and see what others are saying?

Hmmm....Well for starters when you type something like  /66 RESET  you will not see it echo in the local chat because its being sent on a different channel, in this case 66.  Do you have someone else who can test these objects and verify that they work on the channel you are trying and with the syntax you are using?  I have an annoying hottub script that will only reset if I type it in all capital letters.  Makes me crazy.  So having someone else test the object would be a first step.

If it works for them but still doesn't work for you, then hard to say what could be causing that.  Maybe a permissions problem or maybe a poorly written script.   I do notice that you have an unusually long username.  I seem to recall some threads in the past that talked about script failures do to name length.
