0 PeterCanessa Oh Posted November 24, 2011 Share Posted November 24, 2011 You can imagine sculpties as being prims twisted and tortured into interesting shapes (they're not, but the image works). "Normal" textures are for flat/round surfaces so, as you say, produce very odd results when applied to these twisted sculpties. The solution is to get/make a texture which has been tortured in the same way as the sculptie. For that you'll either have to experiment (for a long time) with a grid-texture or contact the sculptie-maker. Bottom line - texturing sculpties isn't easy.
