camtasia interfearing with secondlife ,,,

hi i just tryed the camtasia recorder  v7 to record sl

what i want to know is why when i press record is secondlife controles getting messed up by the recorder ,,,,

 

the secondlife  left right arrows make the avatar turn in slow motion and when i go into mouse look the mouse is uncontrolable

 

does anyone know anything about this

Sorry, i can't help. But one tip, Camtasia is not a good idea for Direct3D or OpenGL Video Recording. Use Fraps or one of the free alternatives Game-Recorders.

i have tryed fraps but found it very limiting

couse it only filmed full screen or something

may be i was wrong and will look again

but on the whole after many trial and errors i found

camtasia to work ok and be flexable

it just this problem with v 7

think i will just carry on using 4

And what was your solution?

I don't using Camtasia anymore, because for this price it has to limited edit possibilities. Often I recording with Fraps or a free no featured Screen Recorder and editing this in a video-cut software. It's more work, but more flexible for me.
