i cant log in on second life

Everytime i login in on second life downloader i addes more letters to my password and this comes up

Login failed

Dns could not resolve the host name 

please verify that you can connect to the www.secondlife.com

website. if you can,but continue to recive this error, please go to the support section and report this problem

and the thing is that i just downloaded it and i can log in second life please help me

you need to uninstall seconlife viewer 2 and then reinstall.

 

they have  "patches" for u to install if that doesnt work.

 

About adding more letters to your password....double check that u didnt accidentally slipped your fingers on the keyboard. I often do this and (yes its frustrating) LOL

 

you might have a slow internet connection like dialup so you will have issues with getting on Sl.

 

then if all that doesnt work submit a ticket with secondlife support.

You can find a solution at the following link and it is worth to give a try: http://neilrobinson.wordpress.com/2008/05/19/a-fix​-for-dns-errors/ You need to add the following additional DNS servers to your DNS settings in Network settings under System Preferences:

208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
