There are many places in second life which promote musicians. Few of them are Tranquil cafe,the whammy bar,Music flair and sound factory.

Just type in the keyword "music talent" and you will get loads of places which are currently seeking for new and fresh musical talents in second life.

I know a person he is a celebrity guitar player in real life but in here when he had first joined with me. all he used to do was play guitar for just small crowds in Sl . Slowly after a few weeks he got invited in a club and then there was no turning back.

I would suggest you that  don't have to buy streaming things  right away. Simply use your mic and play instrument or sing.

Be shameless and display your talent to people and market yourself.SL is very kind to people who have the real talent
