I bought boots and it is in my inventory as a box....how do I unpack it and wear them?

Ok I am new...and feel like I am going crazy. I know this has like....got to be easy. Help. I bought these boots. It showed up  in my inventory under objects...and when I try to wear it....it is like...in a gift box and attached to my avi. I looked up what  I am suppose to do about this. ..and it like says I need to unpack it....ummm how do I do that...I have no clue what LSL scripts are...thank you

Follow the instructions in the link Cinn gave you. Almost everything in Second Life comes into boxes, not only shoes but outfits, hair, houses, furniture, etc. Knowing how to open these boxes is essential to enjoy your purchases and your second life. Learn and have fun! :smileyhappy:
