Everytime I try to Install the newest viewer of SL it installs incorrectly! Help!!!

:matte-motes-sour:Everytime I try to install the newest viewer 3.0.0.238864 it installs fine, then when it gets to the end it  sends me an error messages (about 30) about file  with the ABORT RETRY IGNORE buttons I click retry and it doesn't work on all of them so I just press ignore then it finishes and I start up SL and it says I didn't install it :( can anyone help or have the same problem??? Help ASAP!! Thanks :)

Sounds like perhaps you've got a viewer already opened causing file conflicts.  Or a viewer that didn't properly shutdown holding files open.

In either case, try this.  Download the viewer installer file.  DON'T run it from the web! Download so that you have it on your hard drive.  Reboot your computer and then run the viewer installation before doing anything else.  See if that helps. 

If not, you may have to go through a deinstall process first to clear out the old files.
